  7. Lol I seen the other day they are planning on banning you from smoking in your own car aswell. I'm not a smoker myself but if u wanna smoke in your car then thats your choice. This country is an absolute joke in the making wont be long before they introduce marshall law and its their way or the highway. You can hardly fart in the street these days without a public disorder offence.

  9. Sorry mate didnt realise it said convertable lol. And surely you mu8st have rights they cant give you the sack for being late once unless your on a trial period or somthing lol.
  10. In work hitting refresh every so often to see whats going down!! lol. Water leaking in the saab finding its way into the passenger front footwell by any chance?
  11. Not diggin tht at all
  12. Ideal buddy hope its ok now. Out of interest where did you get the cylinders from and how much did they cost?
  13. This is a wierd issue because when engaging reverse a car should always be completely stationary and by disengaging the clutch it would also cause the gearbox to come to a stop aswell. As is probably quite obvious the crunch is caused by when gears are moving and colliding with each other. So this does make me think it is an issue with your clutch or cylinders causing the clutch not to disengage fully therefore there is still movement inside the gearbox when you select reverse hence the crunch. For anyone else asking the reason it does not happen on any other gears is because they are syncro'd and designed to be engaged while there is movement in the box. 1: Did you change the complete clutch or just the friction plate? (If so the pressure plate may be weak and unable to fully disengage the clutch) 2: Did you change the cylinders before changing the clutch and are therefore sure that the cylinders are working properly? 3: Why did you change the fork out of curiosity? It is not a part that tends to be effect by wear and tear as it is in an inanimate piece of metal and the smallest difference in angle between the old and new would cause this (Although the least unlikely)
  14. Wheel width and size is whats causing your issue. The only safe way to go on a starlet is with 15's. Although 16's look sweet.
  15. Adjust the rod behind the pedal this helps to disengage the clutch slight or engage it more depending on how you adjust it. You will want to be adjusting it so that the pedal sits slightly higher. This will cause the effect of the pedal being slightly pressed before you even touch it.
  16. Yeah easily enough done mate. Only thing would be that if you get picky dropping the back may upset the front a little but i highly doubt it would be noticable.
  17. Aye its sorted and on now just needs a little tweaking and to get me IC sorted and I needto get my EMU then map time so not much to do now. Still goes well without the mapping just worries me a little so try and stay off boost as much as i can.
  18. no you might have to change the adjustment on your panhard rod to bring the axel centre again but the rear end is fixed so should always be aligned anyway.
  19. Been a while
  20. Is is a full kit?
  21. Mike Brewer is a helmet and sorry to alot of people I do like Ed but to be honest he isn't much better. I love this show usually but somethings I see him doing and I'm genuinly blown away. I've picked up a few things from him but I have seen some dismal displays of mechanics from him at times aswell. I've not watched it yet thought i'd commment 1st my pal has an R33 GTST and that spoiler wud get no where near it. If you wanna be picky im pretty sure they are calling it a GTS which im sure is the N/A model.
  22. These things happen with cars i was a mechanic for years and sometimes things break especially when you are working in tht area. Ok it could be there fault but the chances are its never been changed since the car was made making it the best part of 20 years old. Im sure you can get them on ebay for 30 quid and even cheaper from someone who is breaking. If you can get them to fix it then fair play to you. Me I'd just replace it anyway for the cost of 1 its pennies and you could easily do it yourself its simpler than changing the oil filter.
  23. How much would you be looking for with everything?
  24. BUMPSKY
