Taggys Reindeer I started undersealing it today too, what a messy job that was with no ramp, managed to get about a quarter of it done but it started to piss down. Will leave it for a sunny day if we ever get one again.

Cheers Streetracer_starlet I have been out in it more or less every day since i have had it, and in fairness i have put alot of work into to get it done so quickly, i am just playing around with it at the moment to tweek what i think is best to run the boost at. Its a bit of a pain as its an actuator so have to manually keep adjusting it, but can only do it once the engine has cooled down. I was gonna go for about 1bar but might push for more like 1.1 no point being a pussy eh! Ha ha made me laugh earlier, some boyracer passed me in his civic type r with blacked out windows, wrecked his world mwhahah

I can honestly say i never thoughti would own a gold car, but get into the christmas spirit and all that aint it

Got the manifold welded back up and also got it all braced now, hopefully i shouldnt get any more probs with it Finished work now until Jan 2nd, get in!!!!

I noticed it was holding less boost than usual without adjusting anything so i checked the manifold and its got a tiny crack in it when the 4 runners go into one. Well anoyed as i know the toyosports manifolds are not very strong which is why i asked him to brace it like the previous exhaust i had on. I had no probs with it prior when it was braced. Oh well no biggy, just more of an inconvienience than anything gonna go down tomorrow and get him to weld it up and put that bloody brace on! I am well up for giving you guys a go in the passenger seat, not sure when we will all meet up next but definetly for sure when the track days start up again ;)

Well pissed off though this evening, when i had my exhaust done i told the guy to brace it onto the gearbox to ensure it wouldnt crack, hes forgotten to do it and i forgot to check it and low and behold its bloody cracked this evening!! Luckliy its only a very small hairline crack so should be an easy repair, but off to the garage again to get it braced!!

You have to have a ride in it to believe it, its bonkers!

I am so happy with it, havent had this much fun in ages. Its such a handfull in a straight line its brilliant, I have been whooping loads of things in it over the past couple of days, looks on peoples faces is brilliant! Yes the roads up that way are brilliant, we spent all morning just driving over the mountains, its so much fun. Bit anoying my car was rubbing but otherwise a top day out in the winter

Finally got the videos done this weekend, i have been promising them for ages lol. I went to the black mountains today with my friend in his RX8 231. Had a load of fun and got a couple of vids of what we go up too Although the first video below i forgot i was recording, this is the first time me and my friend went out in the car after setting the boost correctly, i forgot i was recording but you can hear us screaming like a bunch of girls, the cars so quick its bloody scary! Got the actuator fitted, had to make a custom bracket for it to get it lined up and I also had to chop it slightly to make it shorter to get more wind on it. Just went out in and holy shit its quick, its wet out but was wheel spinning still in 3rd lolz . I need to adjust the actuator still as its only boosting roughly 0.55bar, I am almost scared to wind it up, the thing is bloody mental to drive as it is. Its completly different to the ep82, the only way to describe it is scary, but fun if you get me, people must have just seen me laughing like a mad man going up the bypass ha ha!! Your definetly aware of how small the car is in relation to speed your going at though, as it is, its probably too stiff at the moment as it feels quite sketchy at high speed as its skipping on bumps like a go kart. I was gonna wait until tomorrow to do it, but i am just waiting for the engine to cool down so i can adjust it to go back out again My mates finishing work at 10 so will get some video footage

I think your right socks, that bottom end isnt much use unless you have a head and I dont want to break my 4e for one as i will sell it to pay towards the 5ebuild. I really want to build this engine my self but i cant find anyone whos done a walkthough guide on how to build either a 4e or a 5e for that matter. There is a really good video on youtube but his english isnt good enough to be able to follow what hes talking about 100% Maybe i can pay someone to build it for me.

yeah i wasnt exactly sure what the going rate was for an engine I thought it was fairly expensive too, especially without the head and not knowing if its fucked or not. I guess you can buy a whole car for not much more, but like you said they are getting rare now and i would also have the hassle of taking the engine out and then scrapping the shell. Will watch it and see how it goes
