    stock block can handle 275bhp roughly safely (i repeat this often lol) . you can run 1-1.2bar boost on our kit safely providing you have engine management and a good tuner. if you ever get your motor build..you can run more. daniel_g is correct..more power with less boost is what you want. most people here dont even forge the motor for a stock td04-13t@1.4bar. just good engine management and tuning. it will last.

    mate, the tial is supposed to be fitted with the screamer exit pointing towards the block. the screamer runs down from the tial in the space between the last runner and the radiator hose. if nothing is fouling..you can hook it up the way you have done it too. just fyi

    hey matt, just plug in a vacum source to the bottom (side) port...if you've chosen 0.8 spring pressure..then hooking up the vacum up this way should give you that. at least this will help identify that the tial is working properly.

    ^^^ these would be like superchargers on a 5e hehe. decide on how much power you want from your engine and what kinda driving you want to use the car for...once you do that..choosing a turbo is much easier because there are a lot of options for you to go with depending on what you want from your car.

    keep the boost low...around 0.8-0.9bar. most plug in ecu's run a little too much timing. so your ringlands will be the first to go. even if you get the fuelling right...too much ignition timing will still blow your motor as the timing on these ecus cannot be adjusted. had a customer use td04@0.9bar on blitz ecu..ran ok. tried 1bar or higher and he blew the ring lands. same dude sold the ecu to another who tried running over a 1bar...same story. hope this helps...
