  1. great!! have fun mate..your good for 1.6bar with that turbo. we had a EP82 make 250whp@1.3 bar with same turbo. actually made 255whp on the final run after waiting for the car to cool before doing one last run. intake temps were very high due to it being very hot here.

  3. mate..just for future reference...dont man-handle the centre shaft like on the video lol...always gently rotate the shaft..if it doesnt clip..its fine. when checking for shaft play...gently move the shaft...its not built to handle lateral movement..specially when there is no oil pressure. you can damage a perfectly good turbo ...i actually almost fell off me chair when i saw that video lol
  4. PM replied guys..yes there no oil pressure in the cartridge. so there will be additional play. just follow the instructions on the PM mate.
  5. wouldnt wrap it mate. it could cause uneven hot spots. will also void the warranty on your manifold . if you want to keep temps down...ceramic coat it mate..proper way to do it. sacha

  10. actually kinugawa is a decent company with decent products. we've used this on a few evo/sti build (turbos) and they are working fine. if you check evo/subaru forums..you will see many others who have given feedback and its all positive. they seem ok guy

  13. hey ryan, with this kit you need to shave down the bolt hole housing on the compressor housing. when you rotate the turbo housing down..the bolt hole housing sticks right out from the top. you need to trim it down mate. then you have enough clearance. hope this helps.

  15. mate, check... oil pressure restrictor size. if td-series..it should be 5-6 mm's. too much oil pressure and it can for the oil out of the seals. check return line to make sure there are no blocks/restriction. install proper breather system. get rid of pcv.
