Ive just bought some ns2r tyres as they are very fairly priced compared to all the good reviews they get

I have oil no where else apart from on the 4E stamped bit. Not even a lot just realised there was a a light covering of oil. No other dribbles or dips and thats after 8 months of driving so quite possibly from weeping gasket

Mine does this as well wondered where it was coming from

Ye it sold. £1500 was a nice motor especially with the recaro interior

Ive ran a tf035 on standard engine. Mega turbo! I ran 230bhp at 1.1bar with full boost at 3.2k rpm. Sold it to one of the lads from id workz whos running around 250bhp on it with standard engine A lot of power for such little lag

Synchros are about £35 each i think and there are 5 of them

Has anyone got any pictures of a baffled sump or a trap door sump? Looking into it myself but not sure on dimensions or does the baffle sit just above the oil level?

I know your pain brother! When I was looking for mine 2 years ago it took me nearly a year to find a decent 98 spec that was standardish. Thing is you can find a few in the first couple months but most are nails because theyve been owned by idiots. Theyre gettin even rarer these days.

Then just pull the old seals out the box. Tap the new ones in with an equal sized socket as the seals so they tap in nice and true and dont kink

Take off the big nuts off each driveshaft at the hub end. Think they are 30mm get someone to press the brake pedal.You need to take off the bottom 2 bolts from the suspension struts on each side. Take the 3 wishbone nuts and bolts off the hubs. Then you should be able to tip the hubs do the driveshafts come out. The driveshafts should be out both hubs now sat on the floor. The green driveshaft cups are held into the gearbox on spring clips. You can either prize them out the gearbox and they will just pop out or give them a tap from behind with a hammer. Make sure the gearbox is drained obvs before doing this

Think oem is a viscous diff bolted onto side of gearbox. You got a picture of the side of the dif ?

So what discs everyone running? Ive currently got astra cdti discs on my single pot conversion would the levin twin pot be a direct fitment onto the carrier?

Id say tighten the alternator belt first. Mine did the same when on full beam presume its more load on the alternator so makes it squeel somehow. I loosened off the alternator tension bolt, crowbar behind alternator from underneath to prize it tight then tighten up the bolt again. Bit of a ball ache loosening and tightening the bolt as theres not much room from the top

Ive got some ns2rs in my shed getting put on tomorrow. I have t1rs atm and they are terrible they are basically the budget version of the proxies. With 280bhp and lsd i still have no grip and the front 2 are bald as they just spin up all the time

Ive currently got single pots with astra discs. Does that mean twin pots would bolt straight on with the discs and carriers i already have?

Will be if i can get hold of it no idea if i can even get it yet
