I'm having a bit of trouble finding a courier that will collect an exhaust system for me. ParcelForce says the dimensions exceed their services, and PaisleyFreight only allow up to 2.5m in length which this system exceeds by 0.1m. Anyone recommend any other couriers to try? Note it's only a 2 piece system rather than the usual 3 hence why it's so long in length. Thanks Adam
Yeah shorty was on a 4E. I don't see the need to go 75mm personally, the slightly increased engine capacity and compression ratio isn't worth it. You have to factor in that if anything goes wrong your screwed as you can't buy next size up off the shelf. Exactly the reason why YT is having to go upto 75mm because the bore was ruined.
Only the FHE has the cams with slightly more duration and lift. Yes your mpg will be worse, and you will probably gain about 10bhp at the top end at a push. I personally don't see the need to swap the stock cams, the limitations don't lay here.
Dunno mate not my engine lol. I think theres 5 off the top of my head. You sure the starter has a good earth? Checked battery voltage? Sometimes using battery pack can kill a battery. So worth checking with a multimeter.
If it pops out of gear sometimes it can be a worn selector fork, usually happens because people lean their hand on the gear stick and puts pressure on it.
Shorty ran 75.5mm pistons so can't see 75mm being a problem mate. Only thing I would say though is that depending on the power your trying to achieve and the boost you run, you will require a certain amount of cylinder wall thickness or the cylinders will bow and you'll get poor ring seal and loss of power.
