Remove the fuel rail line and see if fuel is coming out mate
-
I found some on ebay but I'm very wary about buying such products off there, especially as if has such an important factor in the running of an engine.

Brand new 450bhp Custom Garrett GT28 Turbo (SOLD!)

Bumpy -
Demon Tweeks buddy, although anything from them isn't cheap. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/fuel-pumps/aeromotive-stealth-in-tank-high-pressure-340-pump-series Aeromotive is the best manufacture for fuel components on the market, I don't run one because I don't have my GT anymore but its what I was going to use.

Coppers are fine, just need replacing more often

Its not HP that will kill it, its torque which will destroy the torque converter. See no reason why you couldn't make 280 ft/lbs.

Understanding Compressor Maps & Choosing A Turbo
AdamB replied to TrisK's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I go the opposite way and just change the RPM in the formula until I get to the surge line, probably make more work for myself but I can gauge and plot that way how efficient the compressor is at a range of RPM's. Just to add, do take the numbers you get with a pinch of salt, don't expect a 1.05 AR turbine housing to spool the same as a 48 AR housing just because a compressor map says so lol. -
Understanding Compressor Maps & Choosing A Turbo

But how can you put in the forumla 110 CFM if you don't know without testing the turbo on a gas stand that that is what the compressor will flow at that pressure ratio? Essentially your trying to solve an equation with 2 unknowns which isn't possible in this case. Only asking where you got 110 CFM from as its not clearly stated mate. Although your not far off, if I reverse back the formula I get 112 CFM. I used 7200 as the RPM limit. Edit: I see what you done, just gauging the surge line as the point in which the turbo starts making positive boost pressure. -

Where did you get 110 CFM from? Remember you need 2 points to plot a graph and I can only see you calculated the pressure ratio. I worked out that at 1 bar the 1.331 engine with an 88% VE will flow 298 CFM. Which is about right as more boost than this the compressor starts losing efficiency. -
Technically it will change the power output, because if your going to make full boost 150rpm sooner, your powerband is going to be 150rpm wider. This may mean that you will get increased torque in the mid range Top end however won't change providing boost pressure is stable.

The GT86, new Yaris turbo and now this. Toyota really upping the game last few years.

The auto boxes never came with an LSD mate.

Its the ideal amount between lateral grip and longutudinal grip in mechanical terms. It does wear the tyres slightly faster but if thats what your worried about then suspension tuning isn't for you lol.

Best thing to do is get the car corner weighted, then have a full geo setup with -1 camber Adjusting the dampness is down to how you want it to ride, I guess on the road have it on softest or just a few clicks from soft.
-
It will cost you more to rebuild them than it will to buy a good turbo mate, not really worth it imo, but try ebay.
-
Not worth trying to find one off a breaker? Possibly even the scrap yard, I guess EP82, EP91, and N/A's are all going to be the same.
-
Ah okay mate fair enough. I agree, strange how they gone up so much over the last 2 years, bit of a joke tbh!

The battery tray is integrated as apart of the engine mount, so unless someone has cut it out and welded a plate back over it it should still be there. Unless your on about a relocation battery to the boot?

040 white mate. Looks soo clean, could eat your dinner off it lol.

Got some brand new Meisters sat here mate

Cusco is probably the harshest but it depends what oil your using. I would recommend changing the oil to something decent.

I'm normally getting around the 120-130 mile mark to £20 @ £1.31 a litre.
