A lightened flywheel should help it rev up faster but the revs will also drop faster between gear changes

Its 2.8 litres for the engine. 4 litres on 1.3 are u dizzy blaad

I purchased this a few weeks ago to use as my winter/daily car. The car is almost standard. It came with the following... Apexi turbo timer. Bailys dump valve. Unknown 40mm lowering springs. Unknown backbox (not sure if its a full system) Some shitty mudflaps which i will be removing soon Fully sound deadened. No major plans for this car besides some minor bodywork, cleaning up the engine bay and some rims. I might turn it up to 1bar as i already have the supporting mods lying around. I really want to keep it standard but we all know what its like when the tuning bug bites.

Thats odd. They normally just ask for a chassis number and part description. Did you tell them its an import. Some of the guys working on the parts desk don't know the difference between night and day.

It all needs to be balanced together - crank, rods, pistons and flywheel

dont bother running a pcv valve - it restricts then engines breathing, Get it vented out to the atmostphere using a breather or some hose.

I purchased a part from lee. It arrived well packaged and in good time.

Each to their own, Obviously majority of people on the forum are far more meticulous about they way they build their engines. Me personally I dont cut corners and dont mind spending extra cash for extra piece of mind.

If your going to fork out all that money to rebuild an engine why the hell would you not want to balance it...as previously mentioned it can cause uneven wear on bearings and could also damage your crank shaft as well as many other problems. Like they say do it cheap do it twice do it properly and all is nice. I had my engines built by future motorsports and they balance all engines that they build and balancing is included in the quoted price. some traders charge extra for balancing but IMO balancing should be included in any engine build

IMO balancing is a must on any engine rebuild.

i use hks 5-w35 fully synthetic race oil. Fuchs pro titan is also very good
