i have aboUt 3-4 of these lying around that i made for my V. You can have them for free. Just cover the postage cost and they are yours! they are made out of 3mm brushed aluminum. And as far as i know i was the 1st one to make one of these over 3 years ago before any trader started selling them.

is there any oil coming out of the breather? Does is smoke on startup? Have you done a compression/leak down test? If there is oil coming out of the breather then your piston rings/ringlands are fucked but a compression test should rule this out if the rusults are ok. If it usually smokes on startup, over run or when you move off from a standstill I would say its your valve stem seals or valve guides.

I just used an adjustable spanner but like rob said they are 22mm

If you have tried both of them u will notice a difference, The ct9b does feel more responsive at lower revs and it also sounds different to the ct9a when spooling up.

I use them all the time, I have had 2 forged motors from them and i get most of my parts from them too as they seem to be alot cheaper than anyone else. Just mention my name and they will sort you out.

if it only says toyota on it then its more than likely a CT9B the CT9A turbo will say CT9 on the compressor housing.

you need 2.8 litres of oil if you change the oil filter and oil together and 2.6 litres if you are only changing the oil

A strict diet and excercise/training prgramme is very importatnt. The gym I train at is owned and ran by daz ball (just google daz ball) who is the 3 times british champion and won the arnie class this year. Lots of advice and help is on tap from many professional bodybuilders there. knowledge and discipline is key if you want to see results fast. I have only been back in the gym for 4 months following a shoulder and forearm injury 2 years ago and i thought i will never get back in shape after not excercising for so long but Im really surprised with the results i have seen in such a short time. As long as you can see the results you will stay motivated and keep training harder every time you hit the gym. If you dont train properly and dont stick to a good diet you wont see result whcih usually ends up with quitting. stay motivated and hit it hard - no pain no gain. Best of luck

i recently got a race tech one from a member on here - a bit expensive but sounds epic on boost, however it needs alot of metal cutting out from the rad fan cowling for it to fit properly.

If its not smoking or loosing any vital fluids i wouldnt worry too much. But i would compression test it just to rule out headgasket failure. Bring it down tomorro if u want i can test it 1st thing in the morning.

if its just the gauge on the cluster i would check the wiring first as the single wire for the gauge can get very brittle and cause breaks in the actual wire itself casuing it loose connectivity whn driving or going over small bumps.
