Im having my front bumper pained this weekend due to stone chips.
My painter said he is going to use some special primer which will help dampen the stones when they hit the paint and it should not go through the paint. The primer is also black so even if it went through the paint it will not be noticed.

i would also check the turbo,
thake the intake pipe off the turbo and see if you can spin the intake wheel. it should spin freely and should not have any resistance.
I have a ct9b in good working order, the wastegate has been ported but it has a crack on the exhauts housing side which you will find on pretty much all ct9s for sale
It works fine and pulls hard.
Im also in leicester PM me an offer if your interested!
since going forged over 1 year ago i have definatley noticed better MPG when not boosting and it drives spot on.
My compression is 170PSI across all 4 cylinders and I am also using 75mm 10cc dished pistons
Is it not better to have the oil cooler mounted lower to the car? I was told having it too high up can cause oil pressure issues on start up as the oil has to travel up to the cooler where as its not affected by gravity when the oil cooler sits lower down.
Personally I would get a complete 2nd hand head and a genuine toyota head overhaul kit.
I would also change the timing belt waterpump and thermostat too whilst the head is off the car.
Personally i would stick to the original crankshaft pully as it is harmonically balanced and the lightweight ones are not and they dont have the same balancing properties as the stock pullys.
Alot of people asume lightweight is better without reaserching into things.
