  1. Its not a ported oem manifild. They have different casting marks on them compared to the oem manifold so they are essentially casted from a differnt mould. They retain the stock look and have non of the restrictions.
  2. Thats all the will be reqiured. Or if your lucky you can get some direct fit studs like me and not need to do any extra machine work for the to fit
  3. I would never re-use headbolts weather they are arp or not. Thats why i use studs they can be re-used many times.

  7. it cost about £200 to have your bearings coated in this stuff and i will be using it on all future builds.
  8. toyota bearings ar alot more expensive than ACLs. toyota bearings are not made out of aluminium and they dont need to be replaced every 20-30k. IMO toyota bearings are made out of better materials and if you combine them with frictionless coating they will last alot longer and handle more abuse.

  10. im never using acl bearings again they are cheap pieces of crap and nowhere near as strong as the genuine toyota ones. My next engine will have stock toyota bearings coated in some special frictionless stuff.

  14. could also be valve guides or valve stem seals. Is it loosing any oil or water at all? Maybe worth doing a compression test too.
  15. Depends on your painting skills. Im pretty sure you can get it in rattle cans too.
  16. use bbq paint. simple to brush on and lasts for years. you can pick some up from b&q

  19. 5e block is approx 1-2 cm taller than the 4e block iirc
  20. its common for the injectors to tick on our cars. Mines did this a while ago when i was on stock injectors
  21. I get all my parts and engines and mapping done by future motorsports. Been using them since day 1 as they are very local to me.
  22. higher compression is the new way forward my next build will be running slightly higher compression - i didnt go into too much details but its what my engine builder and tuner is recomending.
