There's a bog standard auto glanza for sale in hull at the moment. It's not a million miles away from you. It's my friend that's selling it too. It's up on eBay at the moment. Only at about £600 -
It was made by a lad called Andy who had a ep82. Funny onion bought his cusco half cage and he fancied another one so he ended up making one. This is that cage that he had made for him. The bar across the middle was his idea and it came in handy as a harness bar. It's only a rear half cage unfortunately. Andy had it powder coated then ended up selling his gt to dan Garbutt. 👍

For some decent quality ones have a look on eBay for hook and pin spanner. They are much more robust and will not break.

This is it with the carpet done. Could really do to update my build thread. (My bad)

Not a brilliant pic but you get the idea.

I've got one as part of my cage. Should be pics of it in my build thread, project shedlet.

As above really. Great technical know how and all round great guy. Would recommend him to anyone for mapping.

Well quick fit shouldn't have even filled your car with refrigerant without a strength/pressure test. The fine for doing such a thing can be up in the tens of thousands. When you get the pipes make sure you get them to strength test the system with oxygen free nitrogen. Then it will need a new receiver drier as this will be saturated with moisture. It's a hell of a lot of messing around and expensive if you want it doing right.

Good meet people. Few regular faces and a nice catch up with all of you. We need another local meet soon.

Think this was on the Facebook page. The "o" ring that's on the oil pick up pipe had split I believe. This caused the pump to suck air in instead of the oil. Good find and glad it's been repaired

One of my friends has a friend on his policy and he has them as a partner. That brought his premium down a bit. Maybe insurance companys don't want to seem sexist and prefer the homosexuals out there.

Flaminsam replied to yaristurbo's topic in I Spy, Have You Been Spotted?
Yea that was me getting loads of spotted posts recently. Yea there had been a real variety of cars around Scarborough. Even saw an old willies jeep with some old bearded bloke in it. -
My speedo is a country mile out too. Have a speedo convertor but it's at least 10-15mph out throughout the speed range. If I'm doing 70 (3500rpm in fifth) it reads around 85-90 on the speedo.

Hey yea mine is the black one with the purple roof parked behind hanger 1. Have not managed to see your gt yet. Looks nice on your profile pic though -
Paid! See you all bright and early ;)

They are based near Doncaster, Yorkshire. It's the same company that tuned robH's car and john pattisons. He also mapped Simon veals stock sleeved b16 turbo eg drag car.

No knock sensor Kate? That's crap! And yea start the car with the piece of wire across the two terminals. You use the timing light from the top. It's an idea to use tipexx or some form of white paint marker to mark the notch on the bottom pulley and on the timing casing. It will be easier to see where the timing is set to. If you have any doubts take it to a garage and get them to do it.

A lot of blood sweat and tears have come of this car. Not to mention hours of graft and spraying. Looks the part and goes well also. Just glad I get the opportunity of driving it every now and again
