  1. Mine misfired like that, turned out to be the coil pack split. Mine started misfiring at about 8psi of boost then just got worse from there
  2. Your going to get some grief now Adam. 😜
  3. Such a nice car with a wicked motor. Good luck with your sale
  4. Anyone else up for this trip to malton/Whitby?
  5. Hey up webby! Good to know your in with the ukso! Get a pic of your glanza up ;)
  6. I have a similar problem with mine but they are worn ever so slightly giving the front end a slight tap. gainzy can you put a link up for the ones on eBay? Cheers
  7. Mine is the same. 1-2 seconds when first fired up in the morning. Im not worried. The oil has to be picked up from the sump, through the gauze, pick up pipe, into the oil pump, through the filter, pressurise the main bearings and the oil drilling before it turns the light off. To do all of that in 1-2 seconds is pretty good. The reason that it doesn't take that long when warm is because the oil hasn't had enough time to drain back through the oil pump.
  8. Sounds like a plan to me! Maybe have a drive up to Whitby afterwards as a bit of a ukso meet? Wander round, ice cream and fish/chips? Anyone up for that?
  9. I attended with the local club but also attended the ukso stand as often as I could. Good points, People, cars, sound system, patio heaters! Criticism points, Location due to the road. Maybe move to the grassy side of the show (less dust?) name tags! I personally know a few members of ukso, so I recognise people. For new comers it may be an idea to have a name on a shirt or a hoodie? Lighting around the patio heaters could be an idea? Bit more of a social gathering when people can see one and other. Besides that great work from the staff and everyone that attended
  10. Could be the pump collapsing/cavitating. As above get a fuel pressure gague on it and see what it reads.
  11. Always nice to see a familiar face and a warm welcome. Till next year
  12. Seems there's a lot of banter going on in here. In the right hands a starlet can upset a lot of people. On street or even on track. It all comes down to experiance, driving ability and set up (suspension, engine etc) I've been sat next to BMW m3's and they have been embarresed that a 1.3 has kept up with them on a straight. (Currently running td04 ex gated at 0.7ish) I get torque steer even with the lsd box. Thing with the whole civic/integra thing vs starlet, the starlet will cook itself long before a honda will. (In standard form) The Hondas have no heat from boost and also have oil cool
  13. Touchy subject for some this one. The way I see it (sorry for being crude) but if you piss, shit or bleed the same as I do you are my equal. No better than me and I am no better than you. No matter what religion you follow, if you fight amongst yourselves (talking humans in general) you are going to end up an extinct species. Life is what you make it people. Because that is all we are, people. If you fight for a cause, voice your opinions or preach to people just be aware everyone isn't the same and we all have a voice. You may feel like banging your head against a brick wall at times bu
  14. Unfortunately you have hit a big problem. Not only that but the spline size is different on the n/a rack. You will need the steering column complete to do the conversion properly.
  15. It's not only flow that you need from your pump but also pressure. Some walbro pumps start cavitating at about 45psi. So with a base fuel pressure of say 35psi you will only be able to run 10psi of boost pressure before the pump is cavitating. Therefore when looking at a pump have a maximum boost pressure in mind and make sure your pump is capable of delivering the pressure and flow that you require.
  16. Nope the 4efte is not fitted with exhaust gas re circulation.
  17. Think myself and charl may join you for the drive down to donnington park services
  18. You need these in your life. M10x1.25 if your staying with standard size threads http://www.wurth.co.uk/hand-tools/thread-repair-and-reinforcement/thread-repair-system-time-sert
  19. I knew you couldn't resist the temptation of a td04 under your right foot Good to see another gt saved from scrap yard
  20. Does this mean that we can still buy your products from your online shop Keith? Will you still be making starlet parts, fuel rails etc?
  21. Turns out some one made an offer and he took it :/ it was as standard as they come. Low mileage and an old couple that had it.
