performance manifold for naturally asperated
Fozzie replied to ashley newbert's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
How's that running mate? I've got an EP82 ECU, was thinking about rebuilding one of my spare 5Es, keeping the standard pistons and fitting my FHE rods, would probably be a similar comp ratio to yours? Possibly more like 9.1 - 1. Probably looking to run TD04 at 0.5 - 0.8 Bar. -

Looking for a centre cap from the standard Toyota alloys found on the Glanzas and Paseo Si, as shown below. Needs to have the four plastic clips on the back all intact. May take a couple if anyone has some lying around? Cheers!

"Built by JAM Racing in Japan..." "Car was fitted with a vast amount of TOMs parts when imported" So JAM built it, using a stack of parts from a rival firm? Riiiiiiiiight...

Intercooler - Where to get "Backdoor" type?
Fozzie replied to Jamie5414's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I'm sure you can get those types of cores cheap on eBay. -
I have a Draper 3/8 socket set, taken a right pounding for the last 3 years and been spot on On the other hand, the internals on my Sealey torque wrench completely shattered at well under the maximum torque setting, was not impressed at all. They did replace it for free under warranty mind you.

Will this do ? Just running standard boost
Fozzie replied to dangeestarlet's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I'm sure RobH marked up his intercooler core and about half was covered up by the bumper anyway so he switched to a smaller, thicker core. -
Possibly one could be in Nm and one in ft lbs? If the 114 was actually ft lbs and not Nm then they would be quite comparable. 114 ft lbs / 0.738 ft lbs per Nm = 154 Nm?

Bloody hell some of these figures are shocking lol! My 5E gets 47/48 on a motorway run and a solid 41/42 for the commute, mostly A & B roads with a bit of town driving at each end

Done mate Grow up chump, you shouldn't be listing items for sale without holding a membership, someone's bound to call BS if you try it. Making childish comments won't win you any favours. -
Over £6k and he's written a seven word description?? What a bellend.

Is this Td04 any good ?help please
Fozzie replied to smiffys starlet96's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that Kinugawa products are reasonable quality? Certainly wouldn't pay that for just a turbo though! -
I got a decent set of steel nuts in anodised blue for under <£25 on the bay and they look spot on, try item number 280957217978.

Really loving those wheels mate, whole car is looking pretty smart! Keep it up

^ This, the top ones definitely are. I'd guess the other pair could be Watanabes with a lower et to give a staggered look?

You definitely don't need to forge just to run a CT9 on a standard 4EFE, as long as you're sensible with the boost setting it should be pretty dependable. Read here: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/71038-4efe-na-turbo-conversion-178hp/#entry898738

Reliable turbo setup recommendations please
Fozzie replied to Lawless's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
My understanding was that the letter after the TD04 is unrelated to the type of flange; I have a TD04L for my Seo but it's a Mitsi square flange. As above, most important thing is to get the Subaru triangle flange, as all aftermarket manifolds are designed to fit this one! -
Clutch Help, To hold 1bar on TD04 - Updated!!
Fozzie replied to Zeldoz's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
If get some mates to help you fit it yourself then you can spend the £150 you saved on fitting on a better clutch ;) -
I think if one of the edges wears right down then you'll be ok, as long as all the central tread is alright
