    hammering (if accessible to do so) has always worked for me. the shock generally releases the bond and frees them.

    haha wicked to have an old member back my mates just bought a red starlet funnily enough and it has just 51 k miles on it. it looks to be as tidy as ures. best of luck with this new starlet and DONT sell it !! haha

    yes I would strip it all down fully other than the butterfly assembly and clean the shit out of it. I would also if it has a wax stat in there block it of (details in my build thread how to do this) and run without it. short of that it IS a vaccum leak and or a pipe or pipes u havent put on right or changed.

    the reason I go for the 5 weight is the extra protection it gives when cold as its thinner. its a no brainer.

    ebc brake pads do work ok if they are yellow stuffs BUT the pads always crack and come away from backing , qualitys poor. also do not use grooved and or drilled discs.just solids.

    use all the stock calipers with braided lines,new fluid,new decent quality front discs and lastly use mintex 1155 front pads. I did brands the other day and was braking from 118mph and it was fine.my brakes didnt fail at all or fade.
