  1. Riko is in saudi again and do you guys not make your own short shifters like the tercel boys or buy the ebay jobs for corolla celica tercel starlet paseo for like £20 there a good job
  2. Joz man just heard your exhuast sound clip, that things gonna sound deadly goin full tilt. Do you put the note down to exhaust or the 4branch. Dont say both or you'll get slapped :surrender:
  3. Is it a Rising rate fuel regultor. If you dont understand it lad I wouldnt mess with it. Easy to nip the o-ring and or fit poor fuel hose, both can cause fire. Or your guage could be off and you'll run lean and blow her up, maybe not today maybe not tomorrow. Go to rolling road for £30-£40 up the boost til 0.8 0.8bar set reg AND you'll know what your making too.
  4. 130-140bhp NEVER NEVER NEVER. The Americans are fookin liars. EG civics makin 12sec Q-miles. They work it out different to us dude. A healthy 5efe is best. Standard with bolt on mods the power still drops off at 5.5k rpm how it was designed from the factory. Same goes for the 4efe. Raising the rev limit you'd be wastin time
  5. I'd go for this if yer man there can confirm that thats the RHD part numbers.
  6. Do you think it would make a difference in performance.
  7. Dont forget you'll have to check your valve clearances again Mr. Baz Sealey's Siegen range of cheaper tools have the perfect long angled feeler guages. Dont forget to use grease too clean everything perfectly etc its wee jobs like this that can get out of hand and stuff. I would check for cracks on the lobes and I'd just refit your own cams again. Ive had 'a few' FE with the same damage, beat them back together an dont worry about it. Did you use the service bolt when you removed the intake cam??
  8. You have PM there lad, need them this week, get in touch asap. Anyone have thunderpants mobile/house number?? I need to get in touch with him sharpish
  9. If you need any help with the ITB's gimme a shout I've made a bit more progress
  10. Phil the airial cable is clipped to the crossbar behind the dash just so you know. Take off panel below steering wheel and follow the cable up with your hand and unclip it. Pull it down into your footwell and you should be able to pull the whole thing out through the A-pillar. Cant wait to see this wee wagon again, was always very tidy.
  11. The best way to do this is follow the circuit board on the back of the clusters from the loom pin points all the way to their respected light or guage. draw the starlet one out on paper and the same for the paseo one. A guide is a guide dont put too much faith in them, my dad is a electronics something he fitted mind this way. He kept says its right its right, thats good but what if it was wrong and you stuck 12v to your fuel level sensor and blew up the garage, your ma would be pissed big time. On my sportif the redwire with white strip is highbeam and the yellow wire with black strip i
  12. Its ONLY the bug eyed corolla 96-99 that have a 4efe engine the same as the starlet, only difference being the tubular twisted pipe type manifold instead of the nasty cast item the starlets and early corollas got. Get the rubber pipe that goes from the corolla throttle body to the airbox, it is an angled one intead of the straight starllet one.
  13. You should be able to re-use your own metal gasket pallet.
  14. That looks, and I'm pretty sure that its a downpipe for a turbo. That would bolt to the CT9 cat a real treat. Dont think thats a butterfly, there no mechanism at all, how would you control it. I think its just a divider to let the gases away from the turbo abit quicker. It definateley a N/A starlet.
  15. I read in there tech archive magazine feature thingy that whiteline were developing a camber/toe plate for the starlet rear end, I emailed them but never got a reply
  16. download a gear ratio converter graph thing and google ep82 and ep91 gear ratio's. I got it on here a lifetime ago, easy to use and you can change your final drive ratio too. Search on here first "found some gear ratio's"
  17. Tayyib, well done your starlet is one of the lucky ones, can you state the year and model on this thread for future reference, now get a 5e in there.
  18. You can use the 5efe ECU you just havn't figured it out get. Try and see, some starlets are happy to take a new ECU and the others have to be tricked. Get ECU, key transponder box connected to the black ring around the igination barrel and the TVSS alarm system box behind glovebox. Its usually cable tied up under the dask behind passenger side air vent on paseo's. AND THE KEY!!! You can then get a new key cut to fit your car but when the dude is programing the chip inside get him to copy the chip in the paseo's key. Does that make sense?
  19. You dont know what your talking about lad
  20. Trevor on TGTT is running a good offer on jam actuator set at 1.0 bar and a FCD for £100. My mate got one a uses the FCD to set her at .8bar. Seems quick enough, try it before you buy a safc etc.
  21. 1997 1.3 Sportif. 93 bhp and 98lbft It had a tubular corolla manifold, cat removed and a remus backbox.
  22. I love it. Havnt been on here since 2006 love what you've done with the place. @ luke88 I'm inspired.
