Zemerz
This is one emotional thread mayneeee! Only written off a 2005 Polo thanks to a 70 year old guy who pulled out of a side road (didn't give me way). If anything happens to my Starlet I won't let the insurance take her, she can spend a few weeks in the garage healing! *Edit - Unless she turns into a crumpled can, then I'll strip her down and crush the shell, THEN buy a new Starlet and star over Edited November 17, 2013 by Zemerz

daniel_g
A EP91 Carat i stripped, was an Auto with a fucked bottom end and an aftermarket immobilizer that wouldnt start the car, also had a door which wouldnt close after a small accident with the side of my 85 :/Still wish i could have saved it, manual converted it and boosted it, but i had orders from the council to get rid or thry would take it away. Arnold
still got some stuff from the interior by any chance? Not really, I stripped most of it and sold it on. Kept a few little bits for my current V. Some of it was so buggered or covered in blood, it was just binned
bucketep91
Heres a couple i stripped. Both where cat d write offs when i got them.A pic of both them togetherThis one was the donor for my ep95, had been all fixed after the crash but still needed a vic test. I got it cheap pretty standard woth 72k kilometers on itThe other one belonged to a mate of mine who sold it, the new owner crashed it a month later and i ended up with itIm in the middle of saving one tho! This was going to the scrapyard.

daniel_g
Never knew that 1st white one was from Alloa !! There used to be a power of starlets about here a few years ago, now they are very few and far between.

Think he baught it from dunfermline iircHeres another pic Edited January 23, 2014 by bucketep91
daniel_g
The TMS bit of the reg is a local one am sure, have seen a few imports around here with it
jhp5
Lots of Starlets broken up here, hopefully the carnage will end soon. I guess there are to many under age owners due to low price, which will be not true in the future. Mine will live as long as me.
fremyjay
My first glanza, first owner from import Then rolled it on a backroad
Turbo Goose
Did the spacesaver play are part to the loss of control? Theyre like bloody bike wheels
fremyjay
Haha no the front wheel was jammed up inside the arch and flat at the bottom so couldnt pull it onto the trailer, but it moved with the spacesaver on haha
brendonware
I hate this thread, it breaks my heart! Everytime I see a crashed starlet it just reminds me of mine when I crashed it! Admittedly not half as bad as some of these! Brendon
Calum122
Wow some of these are faily recent. It's amazing the recycling that goes into these cars. I wonder why Toyota don't make a comeback with the starlet. Since there is such a colt following?
