nastyrash 2003 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 so sorry i missed this. this is very nice mate and good to see a track car taking shape. gutted i missed out on doing the head. Quote
Idrees Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 Thanks for the compliments guys! Chris, if I still have this car next year then I will be going 5E. Needless to say you'll be doing all the head work on that. (please )TrisK there is no cutting involved at all. I am using a Jperformance cooler, same as the HDI. The bumper fits all front mounts without modification. Thanks for the edit BigMan, I am certain that the colour coded parts will look ace though! More shiney/deep than the Photoshop Quote
ollie ryan Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 think there is to much yellow now, doesnt look quite rightcarbon cruise ftmfw!!! Quote
bucketep91 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 thats looks awsome! defo colour coded! break up the yellow with some idworkz decals on the sides like your bros GT Quote

cazzac2222 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Deffp needs to be carbon iddy, break it up a little but either way looks sexual Carbon Cruise FTMFW!!!!! Quote
Idrees Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 I think Dan means the car will have more of a 'boy racer' effect with a black/CF bonnet, which I agree withThat's the plan bucket, some decent sized ID-Workz logos in blue to break up the yellow! We had some more progress today, pictures and details tomorrow. Quote
Idrees Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 My latest purchase.. 'Golpher' Dual Core full size aluminium race radiator. The filter had to move from it's old location, so now sits out here..The radiator is a very tight fit, I need to fabricate some custom brackets for it yet. We had to rotate the turbo to have it fit the gap, it's a few mm's away from the manifold but we will manage to get it atleast 5mm away somehow! A couple more randoms.. Quote
Dan507 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Thats what i ment, all colour coded looks more awesome especially when its a unique colour like this.Rad looks awesome too, those dual cores arent cheap either ;) Quote

When I read them I feel much more motivated to get the car finished! On my to do list for the V:Order new bumpers and bonnetPaint the full kit, machine polish the whole carTidy some wires in the engine bayFabricate radiator mountingsThey are the next things I want to have sorted, I really want to have the body kit painted and fitted next. The weather is quite nice these days which means I should quite happily get cracking with the bodywork! ;) Quote
