Dan507
Thanks manI wasn't keen at all on the Mazdaspeed kit but those wheels have set it right off, looks great! Thanks bud. I did look kind of weird with an aggressive kit with stock wheels and ride height. lolThe wheels have absolutely transformed the car, I agree with Amjad - I wasn't so sure about the kit before but now it all looks perfect. Stick on plate ftw, get rid of that massive thing please! Thanks Iddy. Might move it to the centre with a 'JDM Tilt' going on. dont really like stick on plates.Looks like he has just set the Alignment to standard settings to me. Still its been done to perfection Wheels have transformed the car dude, it looks excellent Thank bloke said its been step up for fast road use. He showed me the stock set up and the camber front and back was supposed to be neg 0.5 deg. Thanks for the kind words.

Dan507
Bad needs. Coming back from Southampton last night the car over heated. pulled over as soon as i saw the engine temp in the red. opened the bonnet and steam was everywhere. i waited for the car to cool down and tried to start it and it wouldn't fire over. checked the coolant, as i opened the cap there was no pressure and there also was no coolant in there to. the undertray was covered in coolant too. i went round to the back and there is coolant up the rear bumper. i haven't checked the coolant for a while and my mum also said there was coolant on the drive when i left so i had a coolant leak. this happened at midnight and 10 miles from home. My step-dad came to help but there was nothing he could to so he phoned for a recovery truck and i waited for them for a few hours its currently sat at there garage. i'm going back later to have a good look it and dig the starlet out. looks like she's going to be of the road for a while. I's looks like a possible engine rebuild.

daniel_g
At least its getting sorted. I have heard some horror stories with these engines going wrong. Rotary engine rebuild sounds expensive, are gonna sneak in any aftermarket parts whilst its out?

Rotary engine rebuild sounds expensive, are gonna sneak in any aftermarket parts whilst its out?Yeah there pretty expensive. you just have to look about. there is a bloke on ebay offering a rebuild including taking the engine out and re installing for 1800 inc VAT thats about the same as a decent sized piston engine. I need to talk to my mum about it. thinking about sending it to Hayward Rotary as they offer a 30 month/30,000 mile warranty for competition use. but there are expensive. Good ol mummy lolLOL my mum rules. Engine Rebuild for my birthday FTW
