iamlegend
this is the second person to say I pay the fee using paypal?? sure you have to ask the buyer to add the 4% fee on or has that all changed or what lol?? 2 people in 2 days say I pay the fee???
Socks
I ask for the 4% or gift it.... Why should the seller pay for the fees for the buyers protection? If the buyer wants protection, they should have to pay for it, imo...
daniel_g
Paypal says the seller covers the fees. But fuck that the buyer should take the 4% hit imo.

morgey
Yeah i always say gift or add 4% or ill state that its inclusive of fees. When buying ill also add the 4% myself unless the sell says otherwise. I dont see why the seller should take the 4% hit when the protection doesnt benefit them. Gainzy
Definitely buyer as the seller has to pay postage and it's their own money to cover
amatthews45
As a buyer I always pay the fees unless I know them personally. As a seller I request people to pay the fees.
5e colin
i think its best that the seller sets his price and counts the 4% onto the price and puts that price in the ad saying paypal iclusive problem solved
Whitenoize
The buyer should pay the fees it covers them incase anything goes wrong

Yoshimitsu666
Since the dawn of paypal the 4% has been on the sellers side, but it seems to be different on this forum. It's part of the way Paypal fists people for trying to make money through them.
JayJ
I think sellers should mention on the ads that fees need to be added on top of the price, otherwise it's the sellers problem to pay them.
WallaceGlanza
Agree with the guys above in that why should the seller pay for the buyers protection? Its almost an insult for a genuine seller-like myself, as its basically the seller saying he doesnt trust you....people managed fine before PayPal without any protection when people would send cheques in the post! Chops
As paypal worm their way out of covering cars or their parts usually, you have no real reason not to just send as a gift. i still get annoyed when people ask me to cover the 4%, cover it yourselves you cheapskates, its usually like 3 quid tops . 5e colin
i dont see why all the sellers are getting up there horse just ad the 4% to the price in the ad problem solved then is the buyer send as goods or gift the seller still gets his 4% !!!!! your the seller so make the effort to calculate 4% on it no more problems ha ha
