Was an awesome day in Costa Jaystar ;)

I'll be happy with the EP rolling this way until the TD series dude.

Even 0.5bar is mental now lol! Cheers for the refresh.

She seems MUCH happier!

Please give me the lowdown on Eds if you are going to break her.

Should be some 370cc's on their way to you :D

Enjoy the 'Ring' to the max man!

May be a new Wilwood kit out soon so fingers crossed lads :D

Pics coming soon as I get the new gearknob 'n' gaiter in!

I believe an update was WELL overdue lads lol.

Many many thanks to Jay for his time yesterday to get these badboys sorted.

Nothing ever goes to plan unless you have small slender japanese hands it seems!

Brakes are brand new so will take a short while to wake up.

The bed in process was completed correctly.

TD04 kit is being sorted as we speak, which kit it is should be a no brainer :(

Off to order the subaru gaskets now.

p.s Jay that was a sneaky pic! :) lmao!

That's looking niiiiiice!

Just so I know, what exactly are those wheels and what size/offset are they? And did you need the 2.0mm spacers to clear in the end?

Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks Keri :)

They are 15" Rays Gramlights 57C 4x100 - Offset 38 - 7J Wide - 2mm spacers were not needed but used regardless.

Definitely enough clearance to house the heavy duty discs, however makes no difference to me as I will be investing in your smaller two piece rotors once they are released. FYI my old brake discs for the levin brakes were 260mm and wider.

Cheers for all the kind comments guys. More updates to come soon :)

The end is getting closer for this red ep.. or is it???

Absoluty Awesome Joz! I want a set of them brakes badly.

Cheers Liam :)

They just make sense mate, investing in the main safety of these cars will go a long way.

Brake pedal is warming up and feeling good, just to add my bmcs to complete it.

Cheers Jonny & Rob, happy to hear you are appreciating the work :)

There's still room for improvement though :)

Have just bought genuine Scooby gaskets on eBay. So for those who wish to get 'genuine ' at a good price I can't recommend this seller enough.

TD04 kit is nearly sorted, then book a doctors appointment at Jay's Garage for the surgery to take place.

What's the stopping power of the brakes like, what pads did you go for? I still haven't got round to fitting mine a year after buying them lol, in fairness I haven't had the car on the road!

Rich

They speed the car down very well when using half pedal for normal braking. After bedding in the discs and pads Jay did a pretty hard but short stop and she near locked up. I'm only using them half pedal at the moment until I get them rebled sometime next week and a few clunks looked at. They are showing great promise and should be working to their potential after the rebleed and more pedal pressure.

I went for the Ferodo DS2500 brake pads in the end. They will need to be up for it as I will roadmapping with Chris in a few weeks, will update their performance as I go along. The car is a daily driver with the occasional full boost b-road blast. Get them fitted and the car on the road asap Rich :)
