  1. They're probably more concerned of the mess it'd make of the dyno and workshop. Cleanup fee's are usually pretty steep.
  2. Helical lsd's are quiet, like the oem external one, or an Oem ae111 levin lsd these are the same as MR-S lsd's and will bolt into a glanza or gt turbo box no problem. (Not very early gt's or n/a's with 6 bolt diffs though)
  3. It is an air temp sensor. These engines run map so dont have an air speed sensor. Air filter looks tidy, not soaking up half as much engine bay heat now
  4. Wicked little video, Nice garage/workshop too. Little bit envious haha
  5. Seems so strange seeing high comp being classed as 9.5:1 i know for a turbo motor it is but being an n/a guy high comp doesnt really start till 10+:1 imo People have turbo'd a stock 4age 20v upto 300hp and they run 11:1 with the most pathetic rods in the world. Id imagine an incredibly retarded and rich map to get there but needless to say it has been done. Not that this really matters to the op in any way though haha
  6. Music curfew = Silent disco ;)
  7. The bonus with them p28's is the ability to map them (toyota tuning really missed out there) Get ya hands on one and get it free'd up properly, could use it for the turbo motor if need be.
  8. Yeah the bigger inlet mani might affect the map signal causing fueling differences i guess. Get it remapped you know you want to ;)
  9. Basically take the old spring out. Drop the sleeve in to where the spring sits, With the locking collars wound down somewhere. New spring on, topmount back on, bolt back to car. You can run without the sleeve but the shock will probably be bottoming out. Honda do have double wishbone suspension so its a little different to mcpherson which our ep's and 106's. You might want to get adjustable upper wishbones for adjusting the camber but again im sure you dont care about that too much haha
  10. Yeah thats them. Not the best for the shocks and the ride isnt great but you dont seem to be the person to care about that haha
  11. Haha no doubt youll get there and when you do ita time for open itb's, decat and a remap Did it have a probe up the exhaust? Thats how they usually test afr on dyno days. Tbf if you're not sure get it done else where and see. If its the same again then obviously the p28 is the issue
  12. Search coilover sleeves. Theyre a threaded sleeve that sit in the spring cup and have springs with them. Pick em up for like £120 iirc
  13. Its an MB model civic if that helps
  14. Ahh bit late now. Find out how much he wants for it though id be interested in a spare
  15. Cost me about £50 to have mine done.
  16. Gearbox is turning into a pain but will get there, cracked 1st/2nd gear clutch hub thing. So need a new one of them and a 6th gear which is on back order till 20th this month but theyve been ordered so early october they should be here. Got a flywheel and decat from joel at Jae, was great to finally meet you. Alternator might be on route if citylink have managed to find it! Got my electric mirrors in and working. Made a fuel rail non return bung at work. I think thats where i stand atm so on hold till october. In other new my spare 185k 5speed box for my starlet is more like a 1850mile
  17. Thats going to be a good old squeeze!
  18. It comes with the Oem toyota cambelt it basically says change cambelt at every 100k or 60k miles. Id like to think it was replaced with a toyota belt and that put on, theres also a square sticker that you fill in the milage on that comes with it. Might be in your door shut or somewhere. If youre not sure id replace it for piece of mind.
  19. What annoys me is people selling parts for more than what you would pay from toyota. Common one ep91 indicator lenses. About £7 each from toyota for amber or clear. Pretty common to see them for £15 + postage and theyre not even mint The same with the rear light lenses, £47 from toyota for a pair of brand new 96 spec lenses and I've seen them sell for £45-50 (pair) for a part worth maybe £10 they take 5 mins to split from the car and from the light unit.
  20. Get a sprinkler system soak the road so its muddy instead of dry and dusty lol
  21. Location doesn't matter with complaints weve been right down in the back corner and still get complaints even with trains going by at stupid hours.
  22. For the price they are ok. But once youve driven on a better tyre you will question the toyos performance. Dry they are fine, wet when new ok but nothing special. Personally as its heading towards winter i would spend the extra on some uniroyal rainsports
  23. I nearly got my mate from a good 40 foot earlier, he was in a 2nd story window, not even aiming! Was having a nerf battle on the way home from Jae between me and my other mate who had a gun. Not overly successful but got some between cars haha
