Tbh dude i think you'll struggle to sell them most people change up to glanza ones. So unless someone smashes a mirror and you split them you'll be here a while. I think i ended up selling one and giving the other away free lol
-
Thats the way i see it yes, which is fine for people with a 2nd car as the car for sale will just sit about until its sold, but the buyer will still pay for the 1st half of the month that he has no use off it. I mean surely with the tech about these days they could give you the refund in the amount of days remaining on it not the full month? To me it seems like a money making con, just like the whole "every taxed car must be insured even if its off the road" thing its all just another way of getting money out the motorist
-
Plus how many people will not bother taxing their car because they want to sell it so will leave it out on the street untaxed then it might not be insured (void) either?
-
Plus if you want to keep using your car up till the day its sold and that falls mid month you will loose that months tax. Plus the person buying it will pay for a full month but only get half of it as it will date to the begining of the month. Government gets 2 months worth of tax for every sale made mid month... yet another way to screw the motorist!

This is from an old thread but heres where i saw it 1st but I've seen it in other places too. Maybe they redrilled their crownwheel to suit? I dont know heres the quote Heres a link to that thread http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/78025-lsd-identification-help/?fromsearch=1

Brillant money making scheme for the government, thats all it is. Id rather keep it tbh. Makes selling/buying a car easier the old way.

Are you sure? This is a cross reference of cars that an oem mrs lsd fits, part number 41301-20230 If you look it fits both 6f and 5f trans and the 5f fitted to mrs is a C56 and the 2zz its fitted to at the bottom is a c6* Going by that It will fit. You will just need to use your ring gear.
-
This is what the UK 2zz tuning scene needs. Everybody fanny's about doing anything to them so theres no serious parts available. Fairone for upping the game, going to be epic!

Just popped up in norwich. Tax and test. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/toyota-starlet-13-gt-turbo-glanzajap-swap-for-ktm-125-exc/1083012778

I would say yes it will fit. Its an 8 bolt diff from a C series. Before rip your c56 apart try a driveshaft from your car in this diff. Just remove the snap ring first lol
-
Actually it might be. The MR-S over here came with an lsd. These fit both our corolla t-sports and celicas (2zz fitment). The mr-s lsd is also the same fitment as ae111 levin bzr lsd's which will fit in our c56 gearboxes. I would put a good 80% chance that it will fit.

I can get a pair of lenses for that brand new
-
Becuase i was the person who mentioned the lenses. Its just the lenses that are about £47 a pair from toyota. The whole light unit im not sure on the cost but since the 98 spec lights have a different housing you do need that when changing to them. My original comment was on seeing a 2nd hand pair of lenses for sale for about £50 notes which was why i posted

Dont know if its actually doable but the fwd 4agte lot upgrade there C series (what we all run) to the gearbox that the supercharged 4agze came with which is an E series. That bolts upto the 4a engine. Not sure if it would be possible to swap bell housings to suit an E series but maybe something to look at but they run excess of 5-600hp through them

Theres a single wire plug under the dizzy that controls the fan. Either the sensors knackered or the wire is split. (Or not connected) If its running thay cold it might still be on cold idle so will be over fueling.

Do you have a link to the kind of stuff you used? I know some people over here use bathroom sealant and other similar stuff but id rather use something that has an actual rating so if i needed to i could change to suit my needs. Just starting out on solidworks 2010, its preliminary a mold tool design program but you can design components on it, I've only been working with it for a few weeks so still loads to learn but the best way to learn is by trying stuff you've not done before! -
Interior bulb? What size, want a super bright led!!

Thats what im trying to avoid tbh. I have a poly rear mount and find the vibration is a bit too much so thinking of other ways around. I nearly did the same with the underbrace but couldnt work it with the standard rad position so scrapped that. I might mock a design up for my front torque mount idea as im learning cad atm so seems a good thing to try do. -
American. Car has to be over 25 years old to be allowed in (certain states?). If its not it wont make it past the docks. Thats why the r32 gtr's were big news the begining of the year.
-
Damn! That sucks, get me a ae111 trueno from there lol
-
Did you see these for yourself?
-
The likes of mines and jam ecu's have an extra board which carries the chip that has the adjusted map. You might be able to map these if you had the software or could read the coding. However the stardard ecu itself is not reprogramable, whether you could add your own board to it and reprogram that im unsure.

Fml! Them tegs look perfectly fine!

Sounds good dude, Always check in on your updates. What are you doing engine mount wise? Im sure I've asked before but cant remember lol Im using ae92 top gearbox and cambelt mounts and get loads of engine movement and need to do something about it. Did contemplate some sort of front pin/bar type mounts off of each side of the engine into a small rubber block not to take any weight just for torque dampening. -
Had to have owned the car for longer than 2 years or something iirc
