Reverse lights not needed for mot. But it would fail if it came up red. Most people jdm the rear lights and make the top and bottom come on together as side lights and just have the top ones as brake lights as normal

Im going to look at a new car this weekend. Its to replace my daily corolla but I've had the car 4 years and I cant bare to part with it. Its such a good car it seems silly to sell it. But I really cant have 3 cars on the drive

basically the ecu can send signal to the ignitor which sends a signal to the king lead. its when the ecu sends the signal that determines how advanced or retarded the spark will be. it has to do that for every cylinder all through the rev range, so you can imagine how quick that ecu is having to work
