  1. Everybody has to start somewhere Inside the plastic cover or dizzy cap of the distributor theres a plastic rotor arm with some metal contacts on it, this rotates and makes a contact with a set of small metal lugs (points) which then lead to each respective ht lead. The cap and arm can both be checked for corrosion and wear and replaced easily enough. i would also look at any earths around that area and a set on the back of the inlet manifold these can cause the same issue
  2. Nothing wrong this end, can you try a different phone or a pc, see if you have any luck that way.
  3. I've let the admin know, someone should be able to sort it out for you.
  4. Membership can be purchased here for £1.95 http://www.ukstarletowners.com/store/category/2-club-membership/ Cars can be sold instantly parts or breaking require a post count of 50 and 100
  5. More modern cars run 2 sensors. One pre cat and one post cat. One of these might be classed as a o2 to measure the % of o2/co2 (or monoxide) mix before the cat has done its job and then the one post cat will be measuring a known difference in o2 post cat and then correct the lambda to assist fueling. But on these cars one is a temp sensor and one is an o2/lambda.
  6. O2/lambda its the same thing. the 4efte had a temp sensor for the cat as well as o2 sensor. Its going to smell a bit different without having the cat in there to filter out crap lol
  7. O2 sensor is used for idle and cruising, as soon as you put your foot down it switches away from o2 readings and to tps rpm and map readings and uses preset maps in the ecu for acceleration.
  8. Merry christmas, hope everyone has got lots of prezzies and is getting nicely merry
  9. go big enough to get the hubcentric with extra studs or stay around 5mm Front can be removed on the car. Not sure about the rears as theyre part of the disc/drum
  10. Spacers are custom Made. Stock studs in the hub, then bought some off ebay for the stacers and had them fitted to them whilst they were made. In the long run though cost was much the same as H & R
  11. Thats a pretty handy graph, blitz k1 is impressive for whats quite a dated turbo i would have thought?
  12. Its the wrong reg for the car. The owner of the car with the original reg has just been informed on facebook
  13. Glad everything was sorted and delivered. Moved to the positive feedback section
  14. Yeah small movements with no engine etc will be fine. But if youre worried and have the shafts do as socks said for peice of mind
  15. Id opt for ferrodo ds2500 or mintex 1144 over ebc personally. But if its for just road use ebc will be fine. As above with turbo carriers and discs. Again its fine for road use but any heavy track work and even turbo stuff wont really cut it.
  16. Under glove box. Theres a few plastic mushrooms that you pull off and a panel opens up and the filters drop out. Not all eps have them though. Oh and you can just wash them if youre a tight ass lol
  17. Ahh well it would appear it as haha. Done that for you 👍
  18. I think its something to do with being a non paid member. There was issues with people whose memberships had lasped editing old forsale adverts to sell new items, the board software doesnt allow each sub forum to have separate rules. I can change the title for you though if you let me know what you want it changing to.
  19. Well worth changing, it but they are a non interference engine so its not the end of the world if they do break.
