Same box, the corolla and celica use C64 and 63 i think. The celica has closer ratios in 2nd and 3rd i believe. The boxes can be modified to it front or rear engined like the old c52 in the old aw11 mr2

I got some recaro rails from a levin ae111 so other than a hole in the floor of my car needing demelling out 5mm they were a bolt in fit.

I've got the older ad08s not the R's but they seem to last fairly well, im not sure if theyve gone off a bit though as id expect them to have worn a bit more after a couple of half track days. Clearly im just not driving hard enough 😂

Easiest bang for buck n/a swap is the 5efhe. After that id look at a 2zz or k20 swap, I've done the 20v swap and its a great engine but nowadays its cheaper and easier to get your hands on a lighter and more powerful engine. 4age 20v and k20 are almost the same weight and ones 160/120 hp/lbft the other is 200/150, bolt ons and remap the 20v might make 175/135 the k20 would be 250/170. Its a no brainer to me haha

Only thing you might have is a couple of sensors that might need swapping over if the new engine is from a Gt and the old one is a V engine or visa versa. Other than that bolt in and go.

Gt turbo seats bolt in if you cut of a pin off and elongate a hole or 2. Really easily done.

Been keeping my eyes open for some recaros after getting some rails off of joel just after Christmas. Wanted something to match the Sr interior as best possible and that lead me to Evo 4 seats. A few sets popped up but these were the cheapest which probably reflects the wear on the drivers seat (now passengers) but its my daily so doesnt need to be perfect. Heres the old seats, pretty filthy haha And the new Next on the do to list is replace trackrods and balljoints then check over the engine mounts and various bushes.

I've just messaged the mod/admin team so when someones free they'll sort it out

Haha thats a bit extreme, cant fault a honda engine very well built, they wouldnt get best engine in 2l class 6 years running for no reason. Shame the cars are usually badly built and rust lol
-
I dont really know, i cant see it being much different though, these have a stupid timed over boost though so only full boosts for like 10 secs or something. Should really take the factory boost controller out and fit an aftermarket one. Can run 1 bar atleast without a problem. After that a td05, fmic, exhaust, injectors and a remap and your good for 3-350hp apparently.

Its the 190 hpt 😜

Would you be willing to sell the seats and rails separately?
-
Theres a yellow one thats floated around for a while and someone on heres doing a b18 tubby build. Then theres a few that do the rounds on fb every so often. Fair play they're good engines n/a or turbo and relatively light being all alloy.
-
Seems like its becoming an increasigly common swap now, theres a few floating about in the wood work
-
Done, quite a car there man, shame to see you're selling it.

But are they a trd diff? Do trd take them and stamp them up or do they supply toyota with them? Or are they 2 separate units?
