Follow this as a guide. Plenty of other sites to use for the same job but PB is one of the better know ones http://www.ukstarletowners.com/page/articles.html/_/club-site/sharing-photos-on-the-website-r27

Just ordered some RS3's for my daily see if theyre as good as theyre meant to be. Can only be upwards from some bald t1r's that loose grip at the mear thought of rain lol For your price range id be looking at some ad08r's or the Ns2's. Have ad08s on my starlet and cant fault em tbf

Ahh that sucks the only other way is to measure them and then order the correct thickness ones or raid a scrappy for em. Both are time consuming though unfortunately :/
-
work out how much to thick each one is number each one bag them up and take them to a machine shop. Give them a list of how much needs taking off each one. They will then grind off the required amount off of each one, renumber Them and then you can just wack them straight back in. I could do it in like 20mins at my place so would be like £10-15 max

If youve changed the valves then the seating will have changed So would quite likely need reshimming. Look through rob H's sr turbo build he ran different specs to recommended so you might get away with it.
-
If its been apart its quite likely to be one of them. If all the ignition is new and the vac lines are ok the only other obvious thing to check is your boost pipes make sure ones not popped off somewhere.

Have you checked the timing at all With a timing light. Should be done with some ports bridged in the diagnostics port. that or the timing was a tooth out putting the belt on maybe. Worth whipping the top cambelt cover off to make sure its all inline. Same with the cam cover to make sure the inlet cams in check too

Id be checking earths as well

I think Theres a harmonic balancer on the driverside driveshaft. Looks like a block of rubber make sure thats in good shape, if the rubbers getting old it might cause vibration at certain speeds

Not surprising when ticket prices are fucking stupid these days! Then they wonder why people pirate films? a standard seat at an Imax showing at my local is £15.95 for a new release?!?!?

There was a mint factory original 13k Sr for sale a little while back but was up for good money. Couldnt do anything with it though as it was near concours

Would need a tiny as fuck spigot ring to go from 54.1 to 56.1mm amd then youd not be able to use toyota wheels any more but these are a slightly cheaper option. Or maybe try emailing them to see if they can do toyota specific ones? http://www.epracing.co.uk/Performance-Wheels/Wheel-Spacers/20mm-Wheel-Spacer-Honda-4x100/p-77-666-3911/ I've gone custom for mine cost me £180 for a staggered 25-30mm set but come anodised

Comp check will just tell you if its worn out. Id expect around 160-180psi on a good n/a 4efe at a guess? (Someone confirm) Post your results up and someone will let you know how they fair. If youve done the dizzy and leads dont worry about them. Plugs, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, check timing. I think theres a procedure for the timing that involves bridging te1 and e1 in the little black diagnostics port then starting the car and checking the timing.
