  1. As above the bulb isnt a whole assembly you need to separate it. Looks like a big 501 bulb but dont know what theyre called
  2. Have you checked the reading on the tps As adamB asked? Also the ecu temp sensor?
  3. As above, its only £1.95 here http://www.ukstarletowners.com/store/category/2-club-membership/
  4. Make sure the car is level when doing so. As above with oil or some millers 75/90 cfs i think its called is what i use
  5. I found a slightly worn lower ball joint and the front wishbone bolt wasnt the tightest on the OSF on mine but i still think the engine mounts are the issue.
  6. I've a friend like this but i swear he's just paranoid because everytime he starts moaning about someone being close theyre usually miles away lol. Sometimes he even gets out the car the crazy fool haha But that damn cat is a right nuisance always there when someones close behind ;)
  7. Whats the nissan reference all about? :s Ha if it werent the thing holding my wheel on i wouldnt worry but it is so theyre getting replaced and polybushes fitted to them before fitting
  8. A short shifter would do the opposite as its longer on the bottom.
  9. Gotta love red all polished up
  10. Ooo fancy, its for the key part of the surround id imagine. Thats going to be an awesome little setup!
  11. Yeah thats exactly it. Joel_ep91 should be trying it out pretty soon. The levin discs are the right size but need the spacer. Im not sure if the astra discs are machined down to 256mm or if they come as that factory but if they come in at 275mm they should be a bolt on disc with this setup
  12. Have you tested for fault codes?
  13. Yup theres no reason this wouldnt work for starlets either you'd still run the 4mm spacer under the disc but wouldnt need to get the disc machined
  14. The rust from inside one wishbone lol
  15. Its a state. Everything is rusty and shit lol
  16. Update.... Figured i needed new brakes since im running a heavier more powerful engine so step in more spares from by BZR. Levin twinpots! Spoke to a ishaq about making a kit to run the fullsize 275mm brakes as normally you have to run 260mm brakes when using the twinpots but you can use celica carriers to bump up the caliper height to house 275mm levin discs. So thats what i did. Now running them with some fresh uniroyal rainsport 3s and compared to my old brakes they are another level. However i would say the old toyos i had seemed to have grip under braking but that might be due to th
  17. Finally getting around to working on this now. Its currently fully off the road no insurance tax or Mot so i can take my time to sort any and all issues i feel it has. So far I've stripped all my steering arms and joints off and all bar one have been 100%. the drivers balljoint was a little soft but not sure if its enough to cause the vagueness. im going to buy new wishbones as these ones are just rusty and need retiring. Going to make myself some poly engine mounts for my remaining mounts. Just waiting on a price for some material. also taking my front discs into work to groove
  18. I have also done this on my other car. Taggy did a how to on swapping diffs on these.
  19. 6 speed box is one of the best mods in my 20v corolla. Just miss 5th if you're being lazy but when you want to have some fun they make the car so lively You will need to mod your shifter assembly to allow the extra travel over into reverse
  20. Good work man always good to here one getting saved
  21. Theres mixed ideas on whether the mrs diff will fit. Personally i would say it would as its a C series box like the V is And they both use the 8 bolt ring gear too. the corolla tsport boys all use the mrs lsd and they put out 190hp stock but its the torque that would be the issue but i doubt it would be much of a problem tbh. The phantom grip is a make shift lsd for a open diff. Have a look on youtube at how they work iirc they opperate more like a 2 way which isnt great for a fwd car
  22. Dont the fte and fe boxes have different final drives? If they do then that wont work. You could possible redrill the 6 bolt ring gear to an 8 bolt to fit the fte lsd to the fe box
  23. Prob not as the uk boxes use a 6 bolt diff whereas the fte are 8 bolt
  24. Ah the braided bit is the feed line, the bit off the bottom is the drain/return.
  25. Dont most people get a silicone return pipe? Id check the traders id-workz and tuning developments on here bud
