  1. Jesus! ahhahahaha awesome!!! Mr potters famous cider! The GF got me a kit to brew beer a few weeks ago. I've never had a go at anything before, need to do some reading up first.
  2. looks awesome be great to see this at JAE!
  3. Ah no worries. I cant remember what the filter was now, its probably in a pic. Its got an Apexi filter on it now.
  4. I think its just there are two different type of top mount. One which sits ontop of the spring and one which wraps over them a bit. GT has 4 stud top mounts glanza has 3 I think.
  5. there's a few guys making fibre glass ones which seem good copies and there's one guy who is definitely shipping to the uk. He also does the full trd kit. He's on facebook but I cant remember his name now I will have to check when ive got my phone.
  6. Keep us updated mate as I've the SR special KYB's on my car. They are hard to get hold of and no one sells them in the uk so will be expensive to import new ones. I find my gt is very stiff on the SR specials with RSR ti2000 springs. I also have a set of TRD springs which I planned to swap over to see if that made the ride a bit softer.
  7. Just spotted this. I Have EMO! I bought it from a builder just outside Sheffield about 3 or 4 years ago. Its still going strong and still an auto. have you got any old pics or info on the car. Its still in decent condition just the paint on the bonnet the clear coat has came off. It had a few botches on it when I got it like cut springs and the standard exhaust had a fair few clamp repair things on with mesh to try patch it up lol. But the car was still pretty much standard just a different air filter on it. Emo's thread
  8. TF035H seems a good setup for response. The Blitz turbo may be cool but its nothing special now, better hybrids can be made or are already available with billet wheels ect. You cant map the blitz ecu either. Dont bother wih COP not needed and its just hassel and a waste of cash, stick with the dizzy its good for plenty power yet. A decent ct9 will do 200 no bother mapped.
  9. They are a good car to learn on as they are pretty simple and easy to work on and parts are cheap. You've done a good job sticking at it all this time. Your leak sounds bad though best get that sorted asap. Plenty fun to be had in a GT, you dont need loads of power in them. yours should be good for some decent boost being forged if you got an emanage ultimate and get it mapped at the turbos limit. Handy your dad could help you out too.
  10. Just a thought did you check the wastegate penny can fully open into that Blitz downpipe? Ive a similar setup but with a Tongs gt spec hybrid and my wastegate couldnt open much as theres a bump cast into the blitz downpipe where the wastegate opens, i ported it all out and it really helped and seemed to free the car up a bit too. 11. Just had a read through, good work. I thought when i saw the pic of the head off those pistons werent the stock ones then when i read down you could see the ARP's and the rods from underneath, bonus!
  12. Before it was crashed i bet it was a decent car as parts of the underneath are in better condition than mine even though its sat for over a year. I will likely use the petrol tank from it as thats in better condition and quite a few other bits especially the interior.
  13. Thanks Jay, i only just spotted the post now. Ive not been working on the teg much other than finish welding that part of the floor up. I think its not a bad job. Still miss the big cat not been the same without him. few more pics Its all welded up up now but no more pics of it im afraid. Looks like my mate is going to take on making new sills and rear arches for it so all the rust and filler will be cut out and new good metal going in. hopefully in a few weeks we will see some progress.
  14. Im after a box for my GT anything considered turbo, na, paseo, g6 ect.
  15. Not done anything over the past few months as i found out my cat had cancer so i spent his last few weeks with him in the garden. His name was Big Smokes. Really miss him every day. I did pick up another integra the other week. It had been crashed an sat on a farm for a year. A year went by and the guy finally got back to me so i picked it up.Its got a rebuilt b18c6 in it with high comp skunk2 valves HC spoon head gasket, head skimmed and fully rebuilt new bearings ect. I will be using a few bits from it for mine then sell and scrap the r
  16. i got a bit more done last night. More cutting to get back to good metal. new repair piece made up and welded in. this took me quite a while to make even though it might look quite simple. and from the back i also removed and cleaned up the end of the chassis leg and got some etch primer in there before i welded a piece on the piece back on. I had to cut a flap out to weld part of it from the inside to make sure it was right and then weld that up too. I will be cutting the end of the floorpan out and also the bit which goes down to it then its all new and
  17. great thread. Are you running this car on the stock dizzy but with a DTA ECU?
  18. Yeah they love to rust mate. Im just gunna keep bashing on with it. Its a bit of learning as i go with making the new pieces up. I just got an air saw the other day £20 off ebay and its great. no sparks flying everywhere like the grinder so that should help. Ive got a bit more done. i had a small hole near where the rta bush bolts so i cut it out and welded a small piece in. I also cut a bit out which incorporated a brace point which i think is used on the production line during manufactuing. its a good solid point which is handy for jacking on. Ive got a plate welded in a
  19. Few overdue updates! I got the Edelbrock stripped it had layers and layers of paint on it. and sprayed wrinkle black. I fitted this with the thermal inlet and throttle body gasket. I also changd all the seals and little filter in the injectors at the same time. Battery tray cleaned up and sprayed champ white. Then time to kick the GT4 out the garage for a while to work on the dc2. Both rear toe adjusters were seized in bad. I couldnt get them out so i took the car to the garage down the road and they had the gas torch on
  20. Had a sort out in the garage tonight so i could actually get in the kp. So i got a little pic. Really need to get this car done.
