There off a early 2000 Nissan Almera only slight modding required to fit.

Yep I run mobile 1 fully syn 5w40 threw winter and 10w40 in the months July to Oct (northwest UK), i change it every 6k miles or imediately after track action. I send off a sample to be tested while I filter and boil off the contaminants. If the tests come back good it goes back in after the other oil has done 6k. I'm not running a forged motor. I'm on modified high compression 4efe+t unit.

I'm interested in speaking to the lads and lasses that have experienced the 6 speed boxes. Pros and cons. If you have a build thread please feel free to ad it in. I'm Sam and loving the c60 cusco lsd , as well as the c160 TRD lsd, it came with. For me the difference was top speed and motorway Cruz rpm the c160 had a bigger top speed as well as lower 70mph Cruz rpm. But very impressed with how these things get you to your target speed very fast, very smooth constant acceleration. great video and explanation of the c60 6speed box in action Armstrong Family - Y

4efe SWAP to 4efte in Corolla E11 1998
Sam44 replied to Frankieflowers's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
I'm back. I've been away for the Christmas and New year break visiting some old friends over in the states. I've just got back to the hotel and settled back in. -
Waw just Waw. Great build. Loving your work.
-
Looking smart. Silver sr do look good.

Thanks to my loved ones for a Christmas present I've got a new set of 550cc bosh injectors for the 4efte with plug and play adaptors. From CP fuel injectors recommended by Rob sr. https://www.cpfuelinjection.com/collections/toyota/products/starlet-gt-galanza-v-4e-fte-toyota-bosch-ev14-fuel-injectors-import?variant=30709463089284 Hopefully helping fueling better as these 3sge 372 units were driving me nuts. Poor spray pattern/high exhaust emissions old school tech.

Waw these look fantastic.

all these very young lads in the top motor sport hasn't done it justice. It just goes to show that there are no quick fixes. and quality young drivers are few and far between. It would be interesting to here any predictions for next year and the last year of the high speed turbo era. Will there be any track records Broken ie hungering to monza

Yeh I must admit these do look very good. Alot better than the 1/kit I'm running at present. I can see the pipes under the front bumper of mine, it really looks unfinished and nocked together.

what hks are you running, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and family. sounds good ill be on the watch out for your build. -
the det3 is not massively adjustable like the aem and can lead to some frustrations and ?????. i got the d16 honda running as smooth as i could but there were little areas i was unhappy with but the owner didn't really notice. for me personally peak hp is not even half of what im after from my vehicle.
-
i like that answer and im sure you will question certain errors you come across and find a satisfactory answer, instead of taking someones half baked excuse.
-
all this can be altered to a improved level. for different engine systems to work with each other better, allowing better engine response. ultimately leading to one conclusion. but have a play with the system when you get it going and see how efficient you can get it. this will result in hp gains. have a look into engine efficiency and related fuel pressures. of course there is a balancing act here as always.
-
sorry i just edited again. interesting.
-
interesting so you think the fpr responds 1:1 with the fueling table. if not how reliable is the fueling adjustments being made. a very valid point on high loads on the injectors and pumps and also injector sizing.
-
any way i hope your not to stressed about this all, and the information on the det3 tunner helps you. its working so far on the honda and passed dyno with good results. i had it fully road mapped in after around 3week. if you could share any finding on the 4efe+t when you do yours would be very much appreciated, im going to get an e11 running on 1 in the new year.

the book was written by graham bell look him up. and of course its up to you how you do it. some more use full info now because we use a map sensor on the 4e engine this references inlet manifold pressure. which directly has an affect on the fuel volume injected by the injector vacuum sucks more out/pressure pushes it back in/restricts the flow. we have this under control.
-
yeh its the det3+ i believe, it had an internal map sensor. not sure if the honda denso map sensor is a 1bar, but its off the b16y8 engine. yeh its up to you to run a reference signal. this build did have high pressure screw on fuel line/fastenings (which id recommend) for over 3.5bar of fuel pressure. ill put up some information ive found in a tunning book on the subject. hopefully it will help ease any worries. here is how i use the fpr as described at the top of the page. fixed pressure.

a great video and explanation of the c60 6speed box in action Armstrong Family - YouTube Stock Differential vs Cusco LSD | C60 Autocross Comparison - YouTube 6 Speed Yaris Autocross | #11 - YouTube how this box transforms power/acceleration/control from 80hp to 240hp is really impressive.

this is how i mapped the d16 turbo standard n/a map sensor. ON THE ECU DET3 MASTER PIGGY BACK first i used analog 1 input/output on the map sensor (this shows voltage 0-5v) then i narrowed my tables resolution in the setup menu to the correct redline rpm (ignition menu) and voltage of the map sensor (this allows for better/finer fuel/voltage step adjustments). with the low table resolution this is a key area. i also set my voltage out min and max to my tables resolution. i then used the voltage offset at -1v output in the setup menu to give a constant -1v drop on the out

congratulations to merc and the top three of the championship. GREAT SEASON. the top ten are at a very high level of driving.
