great info let us know how it goes. have you got a timing gun.
-
let us know how you get on it will help others. also which is the closest configure reference if possible. ive just had a look threw the setup tables and edited my first post with more information.

i just had a quick look. this is how i would wire it in pin1 : +12v pin2 : to separate relay switch (2nd map) pin5 : IGN to 4efe ECU (break out signal), IGT toyota wire, white and black wire. pin9 : IGN to crank sensor (break out signal). adjust the dizzy 10deg advanced allows you adjustments on the ignition table. pin13 : map sensor wire (break out wire) pin17 : map sensor to ecu (break out wire) pin 11 : ground pin 16 : TPS signal (just to be data logged) also intake air temp sensor is another sensor to log data from. (very helpfull data) also egt sensor. there is just your PWM to sort hope this helps. ive just looked threw the konfiguraja #1 c20xe looks the closest match to the 4efe setup. set up parameters. setup tables tab in the software fuel table analog in #1 = modify #1 load = analog in #1 correction #1 = disable correction #2 = disable ignition load = analog in #1 correction #1 disable correction #2 disable scale configuration analoge #1 linear voltage scale 0-5v, ignition configuration ignition input type hall effect or optical sensor maximum rpm 6000 (for the 4efe) number of signals per 720 = 4 maxmium retard = 50deg

does the glanza have a seperate low fuel warning light. if so the uk cd model has one also. i noticed the sportife does not, not sure on the other models. i think the switch for this is on the in tank sender unit. im not 100% but there is an extra wire and device on my cd sender unit.

it does make a good difference putting earth returns in the system.

yeh as said above by lukep. im getting shocking electrical surge, that we do not see on newer vehicles. on the tiny capacity standard battery, very very simple now aged standard starlet electrical system and low output amp alternator, and when the rad fan comes on it has a big affect on my engine rpm. what ive done is put earth return cables in on all electrical systems, a larger capacity battery, but still with all the electrical things ive added to the car all i need to do is put a few things on and you can clearly see the lights go dimmer and the fuel pumps change note (at this point i know the alternator is loading) even the dash bulbs go dimmer. this happened straight from me getting the car. the higher amp alternator will use slightly more power from the engine the only real down side, and bargain at 74quid reconed unit. Ebay do me proud GULP!!!. i might also add the cd model i have is fully electric, windows, central locking, sunroof. so i notice it all the time. reminds me im driving a 1990s vehicle.

haha is it me or does it look pink in the pics. might be my eyes, im getting on abit now. either way looks smart.

after talking to a member on here im going to order and try this alternator 120amp output full specs and dimensions in the items description. land cruiser. ps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALTERNATOR-TOYOTA-LAND-CRUISER-4-2-2002-2003-2004-1HD-FT-DIESEL-HDJ100-/203221527996

waw that interior light is bright, great work on the dash the pink looks good. the foot well lights also look smart.
-
high everyone. does anybody know were i can get a higher amp output alternator to fit the uk 4efe ep91 im looking for around 120amp output.
-
waw a glanza s. what power figures did these come out of factory with.
-
how is this build going. update please.

yeh its doable. there is also a lad on here running pink 7afe injectors on a fcd/map clamp. ive also been looking at some 4efe builds recently that have been turbo converted and they look to be running standard ignition timing going off the piggy back used and position of the distributor. if you use a adjustable, fuel pressure regulator as well you should be able to get, a pretty good tune. ive got some 7afe injectors here if your interested. ive also got afew adjustable pressure regs, and a kemso fuel pump. i was looking into this around 1 year ago with a friend and we worked out that on the 4efte 295cc gray injectors at around 1.8-2bar fuel pressure on a aftermarket raising rate fuel reg this is far to low fuel pressure. i suspect that cold start fuel enrichment would be a problem, you might have to run a choke (variable resistor) on the dash like an old school choke cable in place of your coolant temp sensor. if i remember right we worked out that the 7afe pink 230cc injectors at around 3bar (standard) fuel pressure will be around near spot on. if you use a aftermarket adjustable raising rate fuel reg. id run a FMIC, a low temp thermostat, engine earthing kit and bkr6iex spark plugs to help the low kv 4efe internal coil and a aftermarket high flow fuel pump. 5-6psi boost defo would be good to see the results.

My widearch build :) ****UPDATE 6/3/22******

certainly are, it took me years to save up for it. they held there high price value for many many years. i do miss that car, but not the fuel cost. please keep us all updated with your gt build it really looks very well styled. -
yeh im really unsure about them, im going to have the rear door handle covered and blended in to help hide the fact that it is a 5 door.. it is a sunroof model with the optional sun roof deflector so these would go with that. as well as them being super rare. cant wait to see how yours comes out. get them pics up as soon as you can

i do love a wideboy build. . i had a jdm st185 wide boy. -
this is what i call ceramic beed polishing. its been around for many many years, and normally used on gearboxes, ive had my gearbox parts done mainly to do with the crack resistant case hardening the polishing gives. its also quietened the c60 box down alot. WPC treatment also has a special lubrication treatment as well, or so it says.

watching this thread with interest. i do love the gt turbos.

F1 news: Russell vs Bottas and two more 2021 rivalries to watch | F1 | Sport | Express.co.uk personally i think max needs to be ready for a fight from the rear with alot of the midfield coming on leaps with some great experienced drivers in some very now capable cars. the top 10 this season is going to be crazy. bottas is a very safe pair of hands, very consistent, extremely talented. to judge him against Russel over that 1 race is really quite bad. the race result was mercs worst of the season. this is purely the press talking i think overall last season russel did not have a great year with alot of rookie mistakes leading to a low overall point score. im watching to see how he learns and very quickly needs to react to how he moves forward this season. now onto 2021: Valtteri Bottas completes 'amazing week' in Arctic Rally | Planet F1 Dakar Rally 2021 Final Stage Results & Highlights: Kevin Benavides Wins The Rally Race - DriveSpark News i predicted around 1sec drop in lap times from 2020, which is huge. let us fouces on this and see ho has done the best job. well said toto. oh my golly josh, has there ever been or ever looked to be a verstappen and hamilton rivalry. more like a verstappen and leclerc or bottas. even when lewis has a puncture on his car he still wins by 10sec. i predict a new dnf record coming our way in 2021. Hamilton vs Verstappen, and 6 more rivalries set to dominate F1 in 2021 | Formula 1® not sure on this information, its widely know that Ferrari were tricking the fia fuel flow meter. this season there are 2x fia fuel flow meters instead of one.

just wondering what are peoples opinions/views on these 5 door ep91 wind deflectors. im unsure there a little long. im trying to get the car to look short and fat, im worried these will give the car length looks wise. but might go well with the gt advance color im going.
-
waw these are great i might get these, unsure how they will look.

love this, keep it up. i just use my inlet temp sensor to take readings and work on the fact that volume effects pressure build and drop (turbo size/boost build/dump valve position). i run narrow diameter tubing from the turbo into the core and slowly increase the size upto the engine. this helps air charge velocity. the inter-cooler pipe/core diameter/volume will have an affect on the engines ability to breath freely affecting power/boost build. i use really a quite large diameter inter cooler with a high surface area. i am looking for a better more efficient core. water injection cooling, on the core surface. really helps drop core temps alot also. i use this in high boost mode. also using shielding/paneling to reduce air spilling around the core helps a great deal. as well as reducing heat soak from other areas of engine heat. another good thing to take into account here is heat/density affects fueling the more dens the air the more fuel required. using heat in the inlet charge is a great way to improve mpg in certain circumstances/conditions. keep up the good work. air density gives engine torque (pulling power)
