  1. Thanks for the information, the setup looks well balanced on the videos. I had no idea about chamber bolt's. I've just found them now. Thanks.
  2. Yeh I've got it saved on my lap top, with relevent build threads, some hard to find I might add. This is were I started with the E series Toyota engine using the NA up to the big turbos referencing builds to graphs mainly the torque curve. It's good to see you are starting to do the same. the corrola inlet and 4efe cams on the ct9 size turbo, would have been a miss match build. You need the minimum of the tdo4l sized turbo for the setup. The top end torque drop off would feel horrendous/flat. Your 4efte/gen1 4efe power manifold with the ct9a and 4efe inlet cam should be a nice
  3. I can't find a Dyno graph online using the original manifold, which really makes me want to do one certainly would be very interesting to see one. It would be great to have a topic on this in the engine section with relevent Dyno graphs, the inlet and the cams are the most influential on the engines power out threw out the rpm range, with the chosen turbo amplifying it to the owner taste.
  4. Looks clean, can't wait to see what you do, and welcome.
  5. No I didn't think people would be interested in the data I've got loads of interesting data there with the improvements made to be seen. I can certainly send it you if your interested. I'm looking at being back in the UK at the end of June all going well. Dyno results first at 7psi tdo4l hyb I'm aiming for 200hp equal torque. I think that will speak for its self if I hit it.
  6. My aem logs both the map sensor and I also run a electronic fuel pressure sensor in the fuel rail. At present I'm on 4bar fixed fuel pressure on the 370cc denso 3sge injector. When I get back I've got 500+ bosh injectors to go in, at this point I might be back on raising rate fuel regulation. The fse and areomotive regs are aggressive for sure but if you get the pressures right there really quite cool. I've not had any experience with the standard map sensor. The 1 on mine is the sensor off the RAV4 turbo I believe.
  7. Happens on a good throttle hit from idle. It's 1 of the trait's of the fse regulator, I've run these and the areomotive regs in the past they have near anuff the same characteristics. The sard reg has a hit of around 6 to 8psi immediate rise. The standard 4e is around 5psi. Have a look with yours when you get it in when running in vac negpressure it's far from a 1:1 raise once boost hits it does apply a raise close to a 1:1 ratio.
  8. Yep definitely a good choise. Im well impressed with the fse. It has an initial fuel pressure rise of 1bar which is quite a bit tbf but allows you the drop base pressure to under 3bar. Gives great gains when using high cc injectors out of boost. The fse is also rising rate as boost pressure comes in. Another good tune is to slow down the initial 1bar raise, spreading it out across the rpm band.
  9. Very nice, which type/make of FPR did you go for. 3.6bar seems to be a sweet spot using the denso injectors seems to give better fuel atomisation.
  10. Yeh like most small engines that increase cc using increased stroke keeping the cylinder diameter the same, we see a nice increase in torque output. I've been in a 200ish/hp 4e and a 200hp 5e the torque difference is around 20% depending on setup. This is seen threw out the rpm band, the 5e is 1:1 hp to torque, constant pulling ability. The 5e felt a better balance pulled very hard hitting target speeds faster. As always with a shorter stroke the time taken for tdc to tbc is quicker (revablity). hp giver. I'm currently trying to get the same torque levels or higher from a 4efe
  11. Waw what a transformation. Real nice well put together project.
  12. Loving the front bumper. Which 1 is this. Looks like it has good aero quality's.
  13. Tidy work. Some great builds happening on here, I can't wait to get back to the UK to get mine on the Dyno (standard reworked 4efe internals).
  14. Yeh lights looking nice, looking good. Keep up the great work. 5 door brother.

here we go again. car launch and testing time. ive got my SEB VETTLE CAP. target come in 3rd/2nd if you can in the drivers championship. am i dreaming here or is this the 4x world champion.
  17. ill keep hold of mine for a while then. the sr model is getting rare.
  18. Yes good to know for sure. I got both of mine form demmon tweaks directly, fearful of the copies, they were advertised as walbro 255 but I didn't check the direct part numbers. Great information. I will check them as soon as I can.
  19. https://www.fensport.co.uk/products/knocklink-g4-with-loom-sensor?_pos=1&_sid=33783d1db&_ss=r this is the nock/det indicator i have. im really impressed with it. i also record engine frequencies and run it threw audio software to pin point certain noises.
  20. Yeh nice, I'm running a aem logger already so I can add this to the topic definitely. I will add the gearbox temps in there. With the gearbox being directly behind and in the hot air stream of the engines radiator this is a great shout. Fuel temp also is a nice option for every 7deg raise you loose 1 octane. If I remember right. As well as impacting power, cylinder thermal efficiency and electrical resistance.
