  1. little update dan has been back upto the starbo to finish off the electric wing mirrors. as well as make a start on the paseo. hes really getting very fast doing these toyota's. all working but no electric folding as yet this ill do.
  2. Really appreciating your work great idea and design on the FMIC mounting. Great build. I thinking you have the gt engine with the thicker con rods.
  3. So I've got a good friend to go and collect the car with his trailer this weekend. Pictures coming soon. It will be going a full standalone ems coil on plug to get the best mpg and power out of the low rpm spooling tfo35 13t hyb turbo, on high lift speed vision cams or 5ehfe cams. 4efte power inlet. C60 gearbox, using the Quafe ATB lsd. I'm really hoping race tech will do the ems and mapping. I'm really impressed with there work on the Toyota E series engine. I really can't wait to get in this. Not many people know this Toyota so when it's boosted. It should really be a very
  4. My ep91 running the g6r gearbox. Brad's MK1 by running the c160 ae111 levin 6speed. Reptagons unique and only ep91 running the 4efte inlet cam and g6r 6speed. Soon to be built Toyota paseo g6 6speed
  5. Great work and loving the seats. I'm doing a paseo when I get back home at the end of June. It's going 6speed g6 box alloy 5e flywheel that's takes the 212mm clutch. I will fit the 4efte turbo inlet and cam using a cherry bomb back box, and see what she does on the Dyno. Another car in the 6speed club.
  6. Welcome back 5 door brother. What's the future plans with it. Looks very good. What's the spec of a gls?.
  7. Go on mike. Starbo time. What turbo are you thinking of running?. I'll get them flaps upto you soon.
  8. Them kits (manifold and catch tank) do look top quality. looking great.
  9. Dan is out in the car now adjusting the fueling tables on the piggy back. He is blown away with the tune/setup. Torque everywhere in rpm range he is telling me. Turbo comes on at 2.5k and is fully on by 3.2k. 7psi. Very efficient throttle, easy to accelerate to target road speed with out opening the throttle alot. NO NEED TO BE AGRESSIVE WITH THE THROTTLE. The setup at present is: Standard td04l turbo, e11 corrola inlet with the throttle mounting plate ID opened out to match the 4efte larger ID throttle also the plate has been widend to cover the idle ports. 4efte throttl

I hope everyone is well and enjoying spring in the UK. I've not been on much due to work. There has been some great racing over the past 2 months, not only in F1 with the Merc no longer the best car, Bathurst has been amazing and the start to the all electric off road series also very good. Moto GP.
  11. Proper little build this. Great read. Keep it up.
  12. Loving the look and work. Keep them update coming. Summers here.
  13. Boot mats every were, haha. I need 1. Looking bang tidy.
  14. Yeh I suppose it's best for them to hit it in 1 go. Them boot mats do look smart.
  15. Having a good catch up with everyone's build. I highly recommend replacing all the hoses and especially the crap Toyota spring hose clips. When I changed mine alot of the hoses had started to rot (age related) this in turn affects to clips. Nice work. Very smart bay.
  16. The ep91 shifter cables will fit but the bracket that holds the cables to the gearbox (directly above the Speedo drive) needs moding. I've not got to this point yet. It will need to be at the installation point to do this. There's also to inner drivshaft CV joint cup we discussed earlier in the year that could make the install much easier. This will be a job for next year I recon. As soon as I'm back Im collecting the paseo and getting the ep91 starbo to a high level + dynoed. As well as send some items over to you (first job). It's really great to build these cars along side
  17. No the c60 and c160 have the same bolt fitment as the 4efte c52 and c56. The Cusco lsd unit is second hand off these (out of a glanza box). Only used twice on track and not to any kind of kick ass level. It's the C63 and c64 2zz 6 speeds that need the crown gear I had made they just need case hardening. These boxes are stronger again they have a better syncro setup and wider gears, mainly the final drive gear. The lsd unit you have here is a great bit of kit. I believe it's a trd brand. these cars definitely need lsd. It's a game changer. Worth every penny. Really nice w
  18. Yeh for road that diff will be great. the Cusco unit is abit jerky in the cold on full lock. But what a diff with the c60 box its an amazing combo. I can launch the car in 2nd gear and hit 60mph. We recorded crazy mph times. This is how I ripped to rear gearbox mount off the c160 box. Hard launches. With the c60 box in it now it's topping out at around 55mph in 2nd. But this box is much stronger.
  19. The old launch nice find. Looking great.
  20. I'm on the Cusco 1.5 rs. What a diff it is very sensitive locks quite easily/very reactive which will lead to accelerated tyre wear. after I ran a glanza none lsd box for a few month. Horrible box!!! Over geared. Lsd is curtainly needed for good launch after around 160hp (tyre size/compound comes in here as well). The only issue i have with the Cusco lsd unit is as soon as I let off the accelerator (hard acceleration) it unlocks, lending to instant understeer. This can catch you out when racing close quarters. You have to correct before you let off which is like predicting the future. Ha
  21. Yeh me to it cost a bomb but like you say it's needed to help reduce rear end drag and looks smart. Thanks for putting me onto it.
  22. Fantastic work. Really I'm very impressed the hours that go into a head like this are crazy. I'm loving the little angle above the exhaust valves on the squish band zone great work.
  23. no ive not, i had a st185 gt4 as well. i really like the chunky, cast look of these older bov valves. they look industrial strength power. matches the car period. the bailys type bucket valve i got on mine was prone to sticking open. very poor design. im really enjoying the build. thanks for sharing the progress.
  24. the old school bov valves do look the bollocks. im running the old school hks unit. built to last.
  25. 2 weeks it will be at my house in the uk. im very exited about it. sorry about the late reply crazy week.
