  1. I got one of these a couple of weeks ago:- http://www.r-techwelding.co.uk/mig-welder-r-tech-i-mig180/ i just love it. Compared to the shitty gasless mig welder i had from aldi before, its such a pleasure to weld with. Does both mig and stick welding. You wont have much change left from £450 for it tho.
  2. no additives need for a helical type diff, just 75w90 gl-4 spec.
  3. take it someplace else, slip the tester an extra £20, or a crate of beers, 9/10 it works.
  4. http://gb-ent.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=wastegate I ordered an f38 from here a couple of years ago, defiantly genuine.
  5. I wouldnt like to reuse those wossner pistons with all that pitting from det. The only other option i can think of is to sleeve the block, which would be costly. Or you could trawl through wossners catalgue and find a set of pistons off another engine that are slightly bigger, and then have them machined to fit.
  6. Speaking from vast experience with gtti's. Id just stick with the oem daihatsu pistons. They are forged as standard.
  7. http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/vw-3-bar-map-manifold-pressure-sensor-038-906-051-c.html nice and cheap, i use to use one with my power fc
  8. The majority of the bearings are the same as a non-lsd box, its just the ones surrounding the lsd are different. If you had a V.I.N for a car that came from factory with the oem lsd it would be easier to check. http://japan-parts.eu/toyota/jp/1999/starlet/ep91-agmqy/4_121150_006_/powertrain-chassis/3305_transmission-gear-mtm
  9. it needs to be done in pretty quick succsession
  10. i used paisley freight when i bought a box from ireland
  11. Look after that car. If abused and regularly thrashed to the red line, it will bite back.
  12. There really rare, replicas are even rare. Best mod i ever did on ming was to splash out on a full set of super pro polybushes, they tightened up the car and didn't ruin the ride. Would be cool if you could get meisterR to make a one off set of coilovers.
  13. Are those genuine side skirts or replicas.
  14. I would have go for a look, but it so far from me. I msgd the seller. I asked about accident damage. They said that they had hit a baby deer. That put me off. Let me know how it goes.
  15. Anyone know anything about this car? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FULLY-FORGED-Toyota-Starlet-GT-Turbo-TD04-ep82-good-spec-12months-MOT-/221795020672?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item33a4036f80
  16. Ive had 3 of these all together. Great little cars. Just remember tgat these are really rare now, its a great little engine. They do not take too kindly to being abused. The gearboxes arent the best.
  17. Main efi fuse in the engine bay fuse box?
