Hopefully this will help a few people out, a quick and simple guide on how to change your front indicator lenses from either amber to clear or clear to amber It's a pretty easy job so don't be afraid to have a go. First off: tools, all you are going to need as a bare minimum is: Posidrive/cross head screw driver, fairly small one Flat blade screw driver That's it for basic straight swap; only other things you may want is something to clean them with. And if you are changing from amber to clear you'll want Silvatech or chromed bulbs to give it a cleaner look; these can be found on a quick eBay search or any decent car parts store should stock them as well Right so get your bonnet open and prop it up - first thing is the screw holding the top support in place, remove this. Once this is out you want to lift the light from the bottom and directly forward, no twisting etc, in order to pop the rear mount from the clip it locates into, like so (be firm but delicate, I broke my clip 1st time): This is the clip you are removing it from: Once this is free from this clip you should be able to wriggle it out from the body of the car. Once free either twist out the bulb and holder or unclip the connector to the holder. Repeat this for both sides, then head indoors with both units (it's winter so I'm staying warm ) Next step is to remove the lens; start off by removing the 2 small screws on the back, next to my finger and thumb. Now just gently pry the lens away from the side where you removed the screws from, just to break the seal (no glue just stuck from dirt and grime build up) but once it's broken stop as there's still some clips to remove! The clip on the top is the one you want to lift, this is where the flat blade comes into use. Be careful, don't lean on the lip on the lens as you will easily break it, do it on a flat surface and maybe use a cloth to spread the load if you need to! All you are looking to do is get the grey plastic to sit on top of the lens, this is the clip you want to lift, next to my forefinger. Once you have this clip lifted you want to pull on the same side you did earlier, the side the screws were removed from. It's a bit fiddly but it will come away like so: Once off you will be left with a grey version of this: Mine was sprayed because i thought it looked a bit funny with the grey behind on the non reflective area on a black car, I would test fit first to see if you want to spray yours or if you are happy leave it! Next remove the seal, give it a clean with a damp cloth and do the same with the unit and leave to dry. Once dry refit the seal, there is a gap at the bottom so don't worry about that Refitting: The new lens just pushes back on evenly all over, making sure all the clips locate properly. Refit screws on the back. Once done up, repeat for the second lens, then head back out to the car. Now if you have changed from amber to clear lenses this is the point you would want to change the amber bulbs for your Silvatech or chromed ones! Fit bulb and holder back in. Then the final bit, locate the bottom rear clip first then the top should just slide under the wing and over the little upstand where the screw goes into. Close bonnet, stand back and admire your handy work OId vs New or visa versa Hope this is of some use to some people! Photos & words by Morgey -

Yeh, was a bugger! Will do! Soooooooooo Got round to fitting my factory option pedals this afternoon. Hell of a difference! Stock ones look so lame in comparison! Feel a lot better on the feet too. Less flex! Bit like going from the standard soft leather gear knob to a solid plastic/alloy one. If that makes any sense? The clutch and brake pedal covers are a doddle. Nuts and bolts and underneath the rubber stockers the holes are already there! The throttle pedal cover uses small self tapping screws. As the medal is not actually metal. The footrest I didn't manage to fit, for some reason there were not screws in the kit I got from JDM. So need to get some to refit it!

Just to let everyone know, if you have been getting or had virus warnings visiting UKSO over past 24hours, when visiting the site from Google search. Its now all sorted. It wasn't anything serious, but I'm impressed with Google's response time! Back to normal you UKSO lovers!

Couldnt agree with you more pick1... Just to make things VERY clear, yet again. Everytime I find myself correcting blatent lies. Very Boring Now... Few quotes id like to correct from Enzo/Geo... 95% of you members and majority traders never had a say in what happened.. All the Traders decided they were sick of the childish attitude and being ripped off.. They all wanted to come over to UKSO and by doing so have reaped huge benefits in business They have also expanded and done a lot more for the Starlet Community since doing so too! The Staff (Including Mods) were also all for it as they had seen the abuse you were giving them and others. The Members can do what they want. We haven't got a gun to there head telling them what to do, what websites they can and cant use, but we have and WILL ALWAYS continue to give them the BEST environment we can as a Starlet Owner and as a Friend. socks calculated it in such a way that there was no interuption, infected ukscs database, so even if you guys wanted to come on here to support us you could not..as every second page was met with an error... I didn't calculate a single thing. There were errors with the database before I came aboard many years ago. The errors returned about a week after you removed my permissions. I don't have magical powers to bypass encryption and passwords. Any failures or problems you will have had will have been through not listening to people that were trying to warn, advise and help you most likely. Cant know for sure as I wasn't around to see what happened. im in talks with zen internet, the hosting provider for matt bridgettes parents shared server from linkit to notify them of fraudulent activities and exactly what happened. I can smell bullshit a mile away, but just out of curiosity I called Zen. They have had no calls regarding complaints nor anyone pretending to be myself nor anyone else on the authorized list of admins. I also explained the situation in full which had the member of staff at Zen laughing. You cant just call a hosting company and ask them to remove a website from a clients account. It does not work like that. No Fraud has been committed either. However, if your talking about fraud we have plenty of evidence stacked up to prove Enzo committed several accounts of fraud on UKSC, but I wont divulge into that. im also going to get in contact with his domain provider... I purchased the domain name. What does this have to do with you? What is a domain provider going to do exactly? This is laughable. also matts parents will be getting a nasty phone call over the next couple of days as they wont be aware of what he did. There fully aware. However im not a child in pre-school so not quite sure what talking to them will gain you Geo? lol the site ukso will be shut down at some point, i know that for sure, just keep your eyes peeeealed for when this happens as it will be without warning.. The site UKSO will NOT be shut down at any point. I Know This, FOR SURE. since all those sad people like ro55afumi that think its all about the shows, im not fussed about that any more il be stearing uksc in a new direction away from all the trading spots/shows and all the chinese whispers and bitching that comes with it. Putting names to faces is a big part of being a community, getting together as friends is important. Its not the main reason but it is important. The attendance figures at shows suggest your very wrong to be honest. The atmosphere also speaks very differently too! Anyhow. That's all im going to say on the matter. You can make your own mind up on who you think is being honest and who is lying here.

The idle should not change... The only change should be... Slightly higher idle when cold that settles down when temps rise... It shouldn't fluctuate...

Is this when its cold? Forged engines are a bit tappy when cold, but should quieten down when up to temp... Who built the engine?

Want to try avoiding rivots tbh... Going for the OEM look... If there a decent fit and same thickness cant see why they wouldn't be held in ok by the original rubber and some sealant maybe!
