Robs Precision Boosted Track Build..She's for sale......
Socks replied to RobSR's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Sounds on song Rob! Doesn't sound too laggy either! Looking forward to seeing some figures and seeing how it behaves with some boost control! Keep up the hard work! -
Cheers Chaps! It is great to be back behind the wheel of it! I recall me saying the engine is lighter but the gearbox is heavier Either way, its just enough to tell. Glad I didn't go 3sgte! lol I'm looking forward to dialing in a setup lol @ coal in the boot. This aint no bat-mobile.

Nothing a little burnout down your road wouldn't fix Marc

Cheers Folks for the Kind Words. Sounds like a plan to me Chand! Right! I've been waiting to drive it to give a decent feedback/updates to this thread so there isn't so many unknowns and hopefully answer as many of peoples questions as possible! The base map was finished being done start of the week, so its been a pretty mad week/rush getting everything done and sorted. On the base map the car made 317.1bhp / 235.0lb-ft at 8psi. What I will say though is its NOTHING like a 4E-FTE. The delivery of the power and the power band is huge. The off boost driving is brilliant, was overtaking in 5t

Ive seen the aftermath of sourcing "cheap" gearsets... If quaife make a set... Then buy a quaife. Quaife are the boys, lets be honest...

Seen you pop up on FB and Insta a few times bussey. Seems like you are enjoying it Inlet will always loose you some torque, which isnt a bad thing. Should help save your gearbox. Id try get on a proper dyno tho, hub dynos give different power readings and it makes it difficult to compare powerbands and performance with others! Cage looks sweet, glad its performing as it should!

All About Flow. Especially pre-turbo... Any steps/bumps/welds. Will all effect that flow. It will do the job... but I certainly hope you didnt pay big money for it Tim! What a professionally made collector should look like inside: Piece of weld could break off and go through a turbo? Steps or poor flow design can cause alot more heat in areas? Causing Cracks? It also looks like the flanges havent been skimmed clean/flat.? As im constantly reminded tho. What do I know?

When you say upper brace... Do you mean a Rear STRUT Brace or C-Pillar Brace

Blowtorch/Oxy Cet. If you can add heat to the nut and get it to expand it will loosen it off. Also get 6 sided sockets or RING spanners on there if you can! More sides on the tool, less contact patch you have!
