nah...have not seen one for sale in my region for about 2-3 years....lol
-
buy back an acis mani 5ecolin...lol...its really the best of both worlds when set up properly as you know i'd never sell mine...lol
-
at minimum i'd suggest a ported stock mani as collin stated...but you can also try to purchase a good used one from the sales section----for sure do NOT buy one of those poorly built ones that seem prone to cracking no uprated or bigger injectors pump needed........you dont need a FCD either i'd suggest you run some decent octane pump gas,,,and get your afr/knock/boost checked together at a dyno/tuner if you are using the stock mani, keep the boost at stock levels for now---maybe 9/10psi max if you get and uprated mani then you can increase boost at the dyno when everything can

Here's why you shouldn't buy Toyosports manifolds

. i agree with stu even for a stock ct9 set up the stock cast mani is crap....i'd suggest you get a cheap used good quality mani from in the sales section or ebay or somewhere---(definitely not any of those cheap shiny ones that crack --u can do a search on here and see) even with a stcok set up...a decent mani can free up some horse power and you engine will thank you for it by extended life -
is your narrow band sensor/wiring broken? (O2 sensor) check that
-
ok, just looked at some old emu datalogs, i see the stock sensor reading around 214/218kpa when selected...on some full boost runs....which is about 31psi as you mentioned ....while the greddy sensor is reading the correct throughout, which is far less boost than what the stock sensor reading on the emu is showing so i'd assume the stock sensor is not calibrated for the greddy to read properly...or maybe try changing the unit/scale and see if it reads better, but i doubt it would make a difference
-
maybe the map sensor needs changing....is there someone close-by that you can borrow a map? do you get any codes from the stock ecu?...i think map is code 34 i dont recall the stock map being able to read that high anyways....somehow 1.2bar comes to mind...but i could be wrong how are you able to read the stock map sensor?
-
thanks i forgot to update this post you are correct, i measured it and its 10mm
-
i'd suggest a minimum of the 4efte ecu/sensors/wiring together with emu/emb (or any other piggyback that controls both ignition and fuel) this combination has been used successfully by many members standalone is great if you can get a reputable place to install and tune it, but may tend to be more costly upfront

yeah...that certainly looks the part daniel-g....but as we said before, not many ep owners will want to pay for such an item when the funds could be used for other mods, as well as bearing the overall value of the ep82/91 in mind i've seen some evo ones that look like they should be on a display cabinet lol....i guess there is a bigger market for that kind of stuff for evo, sti, honda, supra, gtr, etc -
are they two plugs/connections phil?...does one fit the starlet connector?
-
where do you have them connected? it the greddy sensor genuine? were they always this far out? is one of the sensors broken? from what i've seen they are usually within 1 psi in terms of reading...very close what is your boost gauge reading for a comparison?
-
are the FC commanders universal or do you need one specific to the Apexi Power FC ep82/91?
-
he's talking about a daihatsu...not an ep91 so his ecu/sensors may be different as its allowing emb but not working with emu

i too would buy a properly built mild steel manifold for my own purposes....its relatively cheaper than SS and will last long however, i can't discredit a properly built SS manifold either...'ve seen some that are quite incredible and durable,,,but they come with the matching price tag -

wepr seem to go the distance and sacha stands by his products -
honestly that looks quite tidy

does anyone know the internal diameter/size (mm) of the two coolant hoses that run from the head to the ct9 turbo?
-
thanks...was just worried it may be the 2zz box...had a local turbo 2zz which was destroying its gears constantly
-
looks and sounds good quick question or page link for socks or anyone----what gearbox is it running? i read through the tread a while back, so all the specific details slips my mind at the moment
-
i cant speak for the ct9 manifold, but a friend has been using one of their older mild steel tdo4l manifold and downpipe for quite a while with no problems at all. hopefully someone with specific ct9 manifold experience can help you out
-
top marks for wepr as usual....now that is accountability and service at its best

i agree with this
