  1. Your MOT tester sounds like a right twat. bring it to Leicester and i will do your MOT for you and sort the fog light issue out too.
  2. you need a twin scroll mani for evo turbos
  3. best to keep it mounted as low as possible so gravity does not effect the flow of oil too much. If its mounted to high up then gravity works against flow,
  4. Very nice GLWS. I have a set of those seats trimmed in white/cream leather, any idea about how much they are worth?
  5. 1000 grit wet and dry is way to corse for a crank
  6. if reverse thread does not work helicoil is probably the last option. this may have to be done in steps from small to big to get a new thread on there use plenty of wd40 when helcoiling as it makes it easier. see if you can get the same size stud back in after is helicoled or just use a bolt
  7. try using a reverse threaded screw extractor if you have already drilled a hole in the broken stud. I had to use on of these on a ct9 that had a snapped stud it worked a treat.

  9. code 52 will always make your car run rich regardless of how well you think it runs it will not let ignition advance either - its hard wired into the ECU so its not like it will run differently on other cars. Im speaking from experience and known facts.
  10. code 52 is for the knock sensor - it will usually brings up the EML when near 3000rpm. Most common reason for it show this code is when the wire or shield is damaged or if the connector on the knock sensor is broken, When the EML light comes on the ECU goes into safe mode and will not advance ignition. It also makes it run rich so MPG is not as economical.
  11. the bottom end will need some serious work to run it safely too. Its worth looking into a billet main caps and a custom made crank gurdle if your thinking of getting anti lag.
  12. can you drop me a PM once they come in. Cheers
  13. What happened to my pic? It was obviously the best one

  15. plenty of places to hold them securely surely nobody is clever enough to leave them flapping around loose
  16. Well said mate - from a traders point of view of course you need a catch can (as they make money off it) people need to start thinking outside the box and look at the logics behind some mods instead of just copying the next person,
  17. it comes down to personal preference - some people will prefer looks over engine health. the more efficiently your engine breathes the better it runs its a no brainer.
  18. you can drop an evo engine in there I seen one at japshow a few years ago.
  19. throw the pcv away its a restriction its not needed and it does not help your engine in any way. The pcv valve just keeps pushing crankcase gases and oil vapour into your intake. dont use breather filters just connect 2 pipes to the holes on the cam cover and route them to the bottom of your car.

  21. this - no need for catch cans - waste of money IMO - engine breathing is waaay more efficient when its just vented to atmosphere through a pipe/hose. if its vented to the bottom of the car the gasses are pulled out when the car is in motion rather than building up pressure in a catch can regardless of weather it has a breather on it or not.
