  1. Methanol is fuel. Maybe not literally a quarter of the time but Jesus it spooled much faster than before I added water/meth. You may be able to do the math but have you ever ran water/meth yourself?
  2. I have done and they seem to match
  3. The end links where alfa romeo links, they are quite thick so where cut, extended and welded back. There are longer links about that you could use but youd have to look into it. The bushing brackets are the ones of the transit and u clamps over the axle bolted through the brackets.
  4. What details do you want? theres not much to them..
  5. the one in my ep80 is yes but my 4efe loom doesnt connect to the car it literally runs the engine and thats it. no diagnostics. just the bare essentials
  6. it never spins it the other way, it just slows it down
  7. Hmm have you tried your 85 in a non jap 4efe ep8?
  8. The largest gap you can go without it being blown out on boost..
  9. In what way did you destroy them?
  10. It makes you think about where you speed but tbh I don't think it actually stops people from speeding entirely.. At the end of the day they are trying to overcome people's perspective of their own abilities with fear. It's not going to work properly.. It will only work on those who lack confidence in there own driving and worry anyway.
  11. i dont know but i have the same colour starlet. ill take a pic of the plate on mine tomorrow for you
  12. ive never heard of it happening.. do it will all the turbo cars ive had and zero problems.. same with all the lads i know
  13. One of the lads is using an oem spec clutch from an SW20 MR2 3sge but you need to grind a touch off the pressure plate to stop it from hitting the box.. Its holding perfect td04 @ 1 bar with mines ecu
  14. i have fitted it to my starlet so what ever is causing it is on the ecu side.. a transponder in the key would make sense alright but thats an immobiliser isnt it?
  15. well i reset the ecu by disconnecting the ecu.. but it only starts for litterally less than a second each time and then wont again until i reset it so its not bypassing it, more like only realising it needs to kick in again. I didnt think they had an immobiliser that early either but its got me thinking now.. I opened both my ecus and, well the jap one has a lot more going on inside. I checked the pinouts and they SEEM to be the same..
  16. yeah you still need to buy the clamps and stuff... you should be able to get a transit connect arb for £20..
  17. Right i got an ecu from a 1992 Jap starlet soleil to fit to my car. From what i can tell, ignition setup is the same design and everything else should be the same. Did these come with an immobiliser? The car will start for a split second and then cuts out and wont start again unless i reset the ecu.. Any help appreciated. Green label is jap ecu
  18. diy it use the arb off a transit connect
  19. Actually i ran it on one of my old cars and had it set to spray at 1psi. It caused the turbo to spool straight to 2 bar in a quarter of the time than when it was off. It is because your increasing the air density both going through the compressor and going through the turbo. Yes a remap will help as in you can make more power as you can run more boost and/or more timing but you wont need more fuel if you just add the kit and dont map as long as your running methanol in the mix and not just water.
