  1. so why do you need to connect it up? if your running actuator pressure then just connect a vac pipe straight from actuator to anywhere on the intercooler piping/inlet mani
  2. Basically its overheating on throttle. so are you running high boost? running lean? Retarded timing? Head gasket gone? Leak in coolant system causing not to pressurize? What happens on idle?
  3. i think one off a tranny van works
  4. Be prepared if you get the apprenticeship most of the qualified welder/fabricators will say your welds are shocking and will point out imperfections no matter what. even if they are spot on.. believe me! lol Looks very good though mate, keep at it!
  5. You might even like the ratios. I know one of the lads runs a 4efe box and he loves it for back road blasts
  6. All you can do is try it! They are shorter gear ratio's though
  7. I was thinking Of something similar but with external wastegate. Instead of it dumping to air you could run it to enter exhaust after the midbox so it gets loud on boost but not too loud
  8. Yeah but td04 properly setup will hammer a ct9 if the person can drive. I've seen online people starting in the wrong gear etc as if they think it's good to have lag haha
  9. 2inch piping is grand for about 0.6 bar anything more and your choking the engine.. It's probably nice off boost but you need 2.5 inch minimum really for it to flow properly.. If advise getting whole system but replacing the 2" part will help too
  10. Then leave original 4e loom and buy a piggyback ;)
  11. Yeah that's normal for mine as well
  12. Id say your car needs to breathe more.. What exhaust/intercooler sizes are you using?
  13. could be a couple of things.. Is the vac line to map sensor split or loose? How is your idle control valve (may need cleaning/replacing) Do a diagnostic test otherwise you could spend hours searching
  14. Td04 gives off less heat at the same boost so your intake temps are lower and that helps to reduce chances of det ;) (when setup/mapped correctly)
  15. you need to finish the engine code lol... 4efe or 4efte? the 5e clutch wont fit a 4efte flywheel so whatever engine you have your running a 4efe flywheel
  16. Damn.. thought your problem would have been similar to mine GLad you got yours sorted though mate
  17. 5e clutch will fit on a 4efe but not a 4efte Unless you fit a 4efe flywheel to your 4efte.. If you already have a 5e paddle clutch it's worth it
  18. Strip both down to a bar block and bolt everything from the 4efte onto the 4efe and it will be grand. Just run it on standard boost though unless you have a piggyback to have it mapped
  19. I needed one bend before, have a look on eBay for any bends and they usually have company info up.. Give them a call. I did that but can't remember which company I used..

  21. Aem has much better fuel control and an internal map sensor. Has much bigger fuel and ignition tables but can only retard timing. The aem also has map clamp, 02 clamp and an extra aux input/output for water/meth,nitrous or even shift light control.. Anything really. It has an internal data logger or can log straight onto a laptop if plugged in and cam be live mapped. It accepts a 0-5v input for a wideband that if hooked up is included in the datalog I'd say it's better than a blue but not as good as an ultimate. The price is brilliant. You can get a brand new one delivered to your door
  22. Awesome! I love these! They sound beautiful with a straight through too
