should afrs be getting richer with hot weather ?
richardc9052 replied to mikey4410's topic in Ignition & Fueling
Unplug your lambda sensor and take it for a spin. If the problem disappears you can either buy a new lambda or buy a wideband and do as above to use it as your lambda. That way you can keep an eye on your fuelling in the future -
Check for fault codes. If there arent any id check the fuel filter and throttle position sensor

Will it be safe to map my glanza too 1.2 bar?
richardc9052 replied to PWG123's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
it should be but make sure the emanage has a 3 bar map sensor as the standard map sensor is only a 2 bar and so only reads to just over 14.7 psi (1 bar) -
have a look at aem fic, they are a good price new

richardc9052 replied to mikey4410's topic in Ignition & Fueling
No probs The 4efe ecu idles waaay leaner Its at 14.5-14.9 on very light cruise and then 12-13 on full throttle depending on rpm -
No you wouldn't need to. Change loom but you have to pay for mapping
-
It's not all about power/speed. Less weight = better fuel consumption too ;)
