Deatschwerks DW200 Fuel Pumps - Any Experience?
maddox710 replied to Timmah's topic in Ignition & Fueling
I've got one ready to stick in my car, but not got round to it. Just has the same footprint as all the other pumps so shouldn't be an issue -
Yeah noticed the forum is in limbo mode, anyone got anymore inside this, would hate to see it gone :(

How to get rid of stubborn dirt on paint?
maddox710 replied to iamkierram's topic in Detailing and Car Care
Will need wet sand from 1000wet dry down too 2000. But being on a curved part of the panel you may hot spot the paint so be very careful, has the car/panel ever been repainted? -
Looks epic!!

Cheers Mike. Just the usual DEI stuff and it was sat in the cold garage for about 4 years before hand. I just ipa wiped over the hole thing before just to get any oils off so it can stick adhere well

I'd prefer to leave that one due to the springs and exhaust
-
I used one for a short while on my old glanza and didn't like it at all. Made the steering dangerously light. Although I had it wired in on with ign

Yeah great first car as they are really reliable. Just make sure the costly jobs like clutch, new tyres and timing belt are done, just these alone can cost a large majority of the value of the car.

As Dan said a lot of work goes into putting studs in when most people just wanna max a td04 out
-
Waste of time and money with studs(unless using large garret running big big boost numbers) just get bolts
-
Sorry to hijack the thread.but does that 4 point brace have much clearance for the exhaust etc
-
Pretty much exactly what I did too mine with my old glanza.
-
Ah I see. I need to Make some. I hate the stock glanza seat and driving position
-
Did you make the seat base's yourself Mike?

I think they look freaking great but, imo the thing that I think might put people of tthese other than the price is the metallic flake (glitter).

Looks great mate! I need to get my skirts and bonnet
-
Very impressive work Mike
-
Does it start and drive with filter off??
-
Kate just search for a forged/cast alloy elbow about 50mm, they usually have a much tighter turn which should help you clear the filter

Just ordered new ball joints and tyres(nankang ns2r) getting wheels refurbished next week. Also had goose chase trying to find why my boot was filling with water. Turns out the seams under both rear lights had popped and the water was running down and seeping through. Sorted now
