  1. hasslegren built 7age. 1.8 bottom end with 16v 4age head its heavily worked on dry sump and just about every thing else you could do to it. the same company built race engines for the TRD formula atlantic engines which were 240hp 1.6 n/a 16v 4age's
  2. Thought rear diff transfer boxes were weak points on them cars anyway Could have just been bad luck?
  3. Id be the same as you mate, I would have thrown it out rather than flogging it off for £30! Unfortunately these people are out there so next time ask for multiple pictures. If they're not willing to provide then walk away!
  4. Epic! Glad it's all coming together now. Next on the list... videos
  5. Some got there parts others didnt
  6. If that last paragraph doesn't happen I'm going to drive up to Scotland and slap you!
  7. Haha class
  8. But its 2wd and lighter than all of the other vags on the same platform ;) Stock my car pulled on it in 4th with a passenger up a hill though. But now its a different story Its only the cupra not the cupra R so 240ish stock
  9. I doubt None will fit after the rear axle. The boxes are either really short or the box points down with the tail pipe at an angle to bring it out level
  10. Its remapped 2.0l leon cupras and the mk5 golf gti's that you want to watch. With an intake and remap my mates leons running 325hp pulls round to 160 rolling in 6th from 60 on a stretch of private road id top out at at 135-140 giving it hell through all gears!
  11. Dont listen to matt, high revving n/a all the way Got a real soft spot for these, if I wasn't set on getting a Levin bzr id be having one of these
  12. The old s3's are pretty lame. My cars quicker than them upto 110 at least, st2's are a bit quicker start pulling back around 90-100 That is with 175hp and n/a though lol
  13. I think half the problem is too many people are desperate to sell their car. So prices drop little by little bringing the market down dramatically. Then the other Problem is all the people who dont have a clue and put their glanza on ebay for like £1300 making everyone else think the price has plummeted If everyone stuck their ep's up at 4-5k then people would soon realise that's what they've got to pay and the market would rise again.
  14. Tbh im going to be one of these people when it comes to sell mine but its not going to be as extreme as some of them that are out there
  15. I usually use the toeing eye to jack and under the back of the wishbone for the stand. If you have a jack with the rubber pad then you can jack off of the center of the cross member The sills just get bent if using trolley jacks without rubber pads on them
  16. I used 52 ones on my early 56 I think they just revised them tbh but im not 100% on that
  17. A bit of 12mm rod a hammer and a welder at a guess
  18. Biggest handling difference hands down for me was LSD. Nothing else comes close to the added cornering speed that you get from having one. Rarb was a load of tosh. Maybe if you dont have coilovers you would see the affects more but fitting one after having them made no difference imo
  19. Cheers bit of a lie as thats actually sunset
  20. This is from like 2007 when I first got my car...
  21. 258mph racing a turbo'd civic whilst listening to lazy boy in my td04'd glanza using my optional extra wind deflectors for added areodynamics.... blud
  22. I cant see it being that light from stock. I thought ep91's bottomed out 860-880kgs ish Saying that mines 940kgs with fuel and a 4age so maybe it is possible the 'dry' weight being that low?
  23. Same unfortunately sorry dude
