Are they part of europe yet? If they are you should just be able to go down the tax office with the details bung them £85 or something and be issued a reg to suit date of 1st registration
Theres like 5mm difference between one hole on the rails. Can easily be modded to suit either car Its very common to but 82 seats in a 91 by removing a pin and stretching a hole slightly
Speedo wise its mechanical but im unsure how the wiring sidebof things would be effected. You could just plug the drive in and see if it fired up and take it up and down the road maybe?
No worries, im running glanza recaros and they all bolt/clip in so not an issue. If you wanted 40/60 split rear seats the you want 98spec glanza seats. All you will need is to stick the two bolts in where the na seats bolt on the vertical bit in front of the seats as i think that goes through to the underside of the car iirc
Rear seats will fit. You need the plastic clips from the Glanza that push into the floor and remove the central hinge in the na and the backs will bolt in
Tte springs are made by eibach, you will struggle to find a good condition origial set otherwise. Same with the tte (remus) exhaust. The few that do pop up are very expensive. Wheels are available for other cars (subaru) but not sure on fitment or if they were ever sold separately as sets.
Ahh definitely a 5 speed then 6 speed is up to the left. Timing light is used to set the timing, you clip it to the ht lead and it flashes every time that cylinder fires. However some timing lights also have a digital readout that displays the Rpm. Its an easy way to check the rev counter agaisnt actual rpm
They are usually a percentage out. My corolla is 10% out, 33mph speedo is 30 and 100 is actually only 90. Other than swapping dials for a different set i dont know any way to fix it. Bar changing wheel/tyre size
Ok so just had a thought whilst driving my daily. Cruised up to 60mph/100kph in 5th... nearly 4000rpm Its a 6 speed corolla. What position do you have to put the gearstick in to get reverse?
Stick a timing light on it to test if rpm matches dial. Some have a rpm readout. If its ok check speedo against a gps. If they match then its down to your box being modified
Congratulations to you both. As for pics you can upload to photobucket or similar files sharing site then copy the IMG link and paste it in and when posted it should display a picture
