  2. Have you had the alignment done or checked? But yeah as above really, balljoints and trackrods 1st then work your way inwards lol

  4. Wing boot bumper bit of a dust over on the quarter panel and a good service and it'll be good to go.
  5. I've had a trance on it, its much better in citys, theres nothing in the countryside at all which is a bit bizzare lol For anyone on android. 6. We had a similar issue to this on a friends civic we just put an extention cap on the slave cylinder pin so it added a bit of extra movement to the clutch arm. Hey presto problem solved lol
  7. Is there a brochure for the P-spec that would usually tell you who its aimed at. I thought the only starlet with a lsd stock was the advance, The rest were just optional? As for the 4efte (4afe, 7afe 5sfe etc) being an eco engine thats a Wikipedia reference F is a narrow angle head used in toyotas eco engines. G being their performance head (4age, 2zzge, 2jzgte etc) So it is generally true but strapping a turbo to a car in the 80s/90s was never going to be an eco engine the tech wasnt there like it is now. Also toyotas head design is a bit backwards anyway most performance heads these days
  8. They can just about handle double the power. Thats not all that great in the scheme of things. Alot of other engines from boosted to hicomp can handle more than double stock figures with an oem engine. a stock 20v 4age with chocolate conrods can handle nearly double the power. Then you can look at the 4agze, a stock one of them make 520wheel hp the other day from an engine that was 165hp thats nearly 4x the original output. Obviously this all comes down to engine health, mapping and fuel used but you dont generally here of a stock 4efte pushing much more than 240-260hp which is less than
  9. Well forgot i had writen that post 😂😂
  10. Pull the glass from the bottom. That releases it from its clips then slide the glass down to get it out from the top retainers
  11. Brakes can be made to fit but its hassle. Easier going for turbo ones. Not much else really toyota dont like to make things easy haha
  12. Youve not taken the metal sleeve off the wishbone from the old bush. Remove that and that bush will close up like youd expect. Edit: or atleast thats what it looks like to me
  13. Awesome, cheers for the replys will have a gander and see what suits our budget 👍
  14. I know theres a few people on here that do their own body repairs so asking for advise on either a good second hand welder to look out for or a decent new starter welder. Brands or info on what to look for when buying. Baring in mine Its for my brothers EF civic so proper tinfoil steel lol
  15. I've got a corolla 4efe manual somewhere i could dig jut and grab some pics of the diagrams if youd like?
  16. The changed the relay itself? Have you changed the ecu at all? Not sure how the immobiliser works but if its registered ecu to keys then it wont work. If its not in the ecu there might be a box under the dash to do with the immobiliser causing the issue.
  17. Its fine they are only loose without the wheel on there. Bolt the wheel up and try again they wont budge.
  18. Someone Get onto M factory. They make loads of parts for other marques of cars.
  19. I did suggest this too but seemed people missed or ignored it lol
  20. That bolt needs doing before the cams are removed if youve already done it you can retension it by hand and get a friend to put a bolt in for you. If you dont do it you'll have a lovely rattle from the top end lol Cant help with the timing aspect though im affraid.
  21. I cut through my rainsports 3s in no time at all (few 1000 miles), Grip well but didnt last on the front of my corolla and i wouldnt say I've driven it that hard on them whilst I've had them. Theyve worn evenly i even had my tracking done when i fitted them so i know its not the car or tyre pressures thats caused it just. Trying some ns2r's out next just cutting through my old t1r's then ill have a full set.
  22. Has anyone looked at getting the gears cryo treated? Might help with the shreading of gears. Also the supercharged 4agze used a e58 box. Its a slightly dialed down version of the e153 mr2 turbo box. Youd need custom adaptor plate, mounts and maybe even driveshafts but its a box prooved to hold 500hp
  23. Welcome, will be good to see how it looks under the plastidip.
