  1. It looks like they should as long as them pads arent actually the ones pictured. I think any front sw20 pad should work i dont think they changed them between models from what i can work out
  2. Someone mentioned ds1.11 for track work, they are a competition pad used in several race series. If youre not looking for anything quite as hardcore. Ds3000, stoptech, carbotech. Then for more fast road id look at what you mentioned. Im sure theres plenty more options out there its just what you can get for this carriers. Some companies can use old backing plates and stick there friction material to them.
  3. If the model was brought in at the begining of the year then there would be a month or 2 crossover before the new reg came in
  4. If you look in the alternative engine discussion area I've covered most of whats required to do it. But as with many thigs theres more than 1 way to skin a cat lol it still wont be fully mint unless i had the full car done which im not, yeah they sure are, id be tempted to use the 2zz now as theyre more common. Haha not for sale im afraid Also i ordered my sports cat tuesday turned up weds, £70 delivered for a 200 cell stainless cat isnt too bad!

  6. Still not had the wheels fitted yet but did check over everything under the car and surprisingly didnt find anything wrong with it as it feels a bit loose so might have to start replacing stuff at some point to try get to the bottom of it. In other news i fitted my blitz access P'n'P ecu, cant really say its much difference other than being slightly smoother map and having a limiter somewhere past 8500rpm lol
  7. Haha thanks but its nowhere near as clean as yours is, especially now its been driven into... again! Tbh im not sure if they'll help but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have some extra reference. Ahh right, we were fairly evenly matched on track, dont know what it was running then but think it was stripped out. Appreciate the words bud, hopefully i get things back on track and get the thing out and about again
  8. Ahh didnt realise you were on here, posted up about seeing you there in the spotted thread or was this before you owned it?
  9. Do you have a stand alone coil on yours like 4eftes or is it inside the dizzy like the ep91 4efes?
  10. Heres chris' thread buh. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/46823-remixd-5e-fhe-sportif-operation-refresh/page-15#entry1167238 The tps on the thriumph throttles was the same as a starlets just there was a lug on the side that stopped it fitting once that was filed/cut off it fit on directly. The shape of that plug is different so wouldnt clip in, also not sure what the voltage range would be on that but the 4efe ecu will need the correct range so might need to find out or retro fit the 4efe tps.
  11. Well its booked in for the repair work but unfortunately thats not till august, but I've decided to brush the cobwebs off and make a bit of progress on the few bits that need doing for MOT. The main thing i did was finally mounted the powersteering pump. Easily accessible for topping up viewing the level which is good and doesnt look out of place either. I've got to move the header tank bottle but that can go over the other side easy enough. I popped to a hydraulics place yesterday to see what they could do and although the cant match the fittings exactly they should
  12. A adjustable panard is fairly straight forward. A rose joint on one or both ends and then just a length of bar threaded at either end. Only thing with rose joints is they can knock a bit but you could just use a bit of pipe that you can fit a bush into and weld a thread to it. Just have a look at the whiteline one thats what that is.
  13. Some great work gone in to this, seeing how you're working around all the problems is fascinating. Keep it up
  14. As far as i know both uk and turbo cars use the same pads. They must have given you the wrong ones in the first place which knowing the caliber of worker at my local wilco is highly likely lol
  15. Its been done with some triumph tt600 throttles the tps even fits with a little bit of trimming to the plug, cut of the inlet leaving just the bottom as you planned, add some vac ports and stick some silicone joiners on to the bike throttles. Run a all the vac feeds to a vac chamber, then from that to the Map sensor fpr and if your car has it, brake booster assist. The oem ecu will fuel ok but could be made better with a piggy back like emanage or even a apexi Safc. Chris green on here has a 5efe ep91 with them throttles, he has a build thread on here.
  16. No worries, if you find yourself with it off again just go crazy, also some with the light off would be good too lol. Cars looking good as ever dude 👌
  17. Nice bit of kit that. I know what you're saying about not needing it but some toyotas dont have the best designed sumps. The newer 2zz t-sports stuff have been known to suffer from oil starvation on track with semi track tyres at around 1.0G and thats on a sporty engine with yamaha design input. Maybe toyota built things better back in the 90s but if you're doing a lot of track days on sticky rubber and are a fast driver then a little bit of insurance, Gauges, cooler, baffled sump isn't going to do any harm other than to your wallet.
  18. Dude you need to read the thread some more 😜
  19. If youve still got the rear bumper off can you grab a load of pictures of the drivers rear corner as mines been reversed into and bent out of shape. Would be good to have some reference for the person straightening it out.
  20. I had a look laat night for someone else regarding this. The correct pads would be st202 but the dimensions for all were very close. St202 celica 141x63x17 Ae111 Levin 141x57x15 Sw20 Mr2 141x57x15
  21. Astra discs mentioned above are 277mm. Dont require spacing but need a spigot ring. Levin discs are 275mm but require spacing out about 4mm to center them innthe caliper
  22. Damn that would be another 200kgs lighter! Thats basically the same difference between levin and 91... again lol.
  23. I sometimes wish i put my 20v in a ep80 or 70. The 91 is ok and quite refined but i could have got the weight down another 100kgs which would have made heaps of difference.
  24. I was just clearing most traces of the context of what was being said. I know you were joking but it would have been out of place with nothing else to refer it too lol
