^ What oil did you use? Clearly wasn't ran in properly when new. I had one that was used - slightly clunky, titan fuchs oil and re ran in. Absolutely silent. Doing a load of figure of 8 turns isn't the most enjoyable thing to be doing for a period of time tho lol.

Again wouldn't run drilled at all. Ive always ran grooved and been happy compared to standard/drilled. Nothing too major either 8 or 10's, none of this 30/40 cack. That with some mintex 1144's/1155's or DS2500/3000, lines and 5.1 is a pretty decent setup for most. Personal expereince - EBC pads are the worst thing known to man,

Just stiffer. Zisco are on here or message them through their Facebook page.

stock subaru td05/vf34/vf35 vs hybrid/big td05 16g/18g
RobSR replied to gorganl2000's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Billet wheels don't necessarily make masses more power, you will notice a lot better spool tho due to the weight. Ive driven an EP both on a standard scoob TD05-16G, TD05-18G, aswell as the Greddy variants of them both. The Greddy/Trust units felt massively different and a lot more 'urgent' They run a different turbine wheel design, and the rear housing were quite different too. In all honestly i would put a nice GT2860RS or something similar on and leave all the TD/VF stuff behind. -
Hmm i mirror some points made, you need to properly spec them yes, but its not totally pointless. Some of the older members would know but if you were lucky enough to own / experience the 282's that burwash sold, they were animals.

Standard springs are fine upto and around 7.5k. If you wanna go pushing the rev limit then think about changing them. I believe you can order Cruise springs from RHD still or zisco used to supply them at one point.

Well done in getting a slam panel or the equivalent of back in.

Yea nothing to do with TRD LOL. What a bell who wrote the advert. You will need the rhs drive shaft, rear mount and sandwich plate. Nothing wrong with a Cusco / Kaaz clutch type diff. Best diff you can buy by a country mile, and they are fine in a daily car if a) you run them in correctly and b ) you use the correct oil.

Why are you asking if your telling us what you are gonna make? LOL. 9 out of 10 JAM ecus are designed to run 1bar pressure on a standard turbo, so running it at 0.6bar isn't going to be all that amazing. If you have a mani, decat, fmic and JAM ecu run 1 bar - you won't have 'pistons coming out the bonnet'
