Exhaust with no midpipe, How loud?
DavidAshton replied to The Toffinator's topic in Lifestyle General
My first Glanza had a HKS Hi-Silent and I hated how quiet it was. I got the middle box cut out and a straight through pipe put in place and it sounded so much better in every aspect. Here is a quick video I found that I had of it. I can't remember the exact setup at that time but i know it was cat and middle box removed. Get a plate that fits the recess!

If you out locally when it's mapped let me know. Would be nice to see it again all mapped up before you put it away over winter.

Yes there was a thread on TGTT a 800 mile old TD engine failed, was blamed on agressive clutch or something stupid.
-

This was my first UKSC Show type event and I very much enjoyed it! Thanks John and Admins involved, seems track time is a must for next year!

See you in the morning.

96 spec bumper with lip and middle cut out looks perfection best a Glanza front end can look imo. Looks mint mate, reminds me of my old silver one.

Wrong you adjust it on the end of the main bar like so....
-
PM me if those wheels come up for sale please.

1.2 bar feels plenty quicker than 1 bar on a CT9 for sure, much more aggressive i thought. Everyone always says it will just blow hot air but I have never seen any evidence of this. My cold side intercooler pipe work was always freezing at 1.2 bar so even if there was an increase in heat it wasn't significant.

Changes to the Classifieds Section
DavidAshton replied to Nanglebadger's topic in News & General Announcements
Good idea much needed, are you going to remove the gauging interest section as I'm sure that will slowly become the new for sale section for those who can't be bothered? -
Ive been running one of these braced for a while now with no issue at all. I have to run the thinner n/a rad on my Glanza to allow the TD04 actuator to fit. Chances are any dual core rad infront of the manifold area wont allow fitment.

I will meet at 27 too

There not great at all, i had one go faulty and max itself out so boost went off the scale. Got that replaced, seemed to tune it for one boost channel, tune another channel go back to the first channel and it was boosting totally different to what I first setup. Didn't even bother using it on my new car, i got stabler boost with a mbc so stuck with that. If your set on getting an ebc go with a well known tried and tested jdm brand.

CT9 direct replacement options
DavidAshton replied to scoobykilla's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
In your situation I have and would again just go for a second hand CT9, you can pick them up for peanuts. 10 second hand CT9's probaly equate to the cost of 1 RB spec. -
Wow taking it balls deep now! Is it going to be ready in time for jf2? Would love to see it reaping on track!
