From what i remember its trial and error. I just kept turning mine up a touch until i got to the required boost. From what i can remember the gain is how fast the boost comes in, but don't just turn it up as if it builds boost too fast it will spike like hell.

Never seen cup holders before !! Rare to say the least ! I'd wrap a blue cable tie around them bungs as they may pop off under boost, creating a vac leak. Will still look tidy if you put the head/clasp at the bottom.

I understand how it works etc and how it affects the turbo, all I'm saying is i never had any issue, nor do any of my mates running £1k plus Precision turbos on 500hp+ Hondas ... including a mate who has run one at 550+ for ages now without a single problem. Anti-lag on the other hand, i think we all know that kills turbos haha.

My td04 wasn't bad at all and had full boost by 3800 iirc and was at 0.6 by like 2800/3000 at worse. Few ways you could reduce lag .... - Good boost controller and good map. - Headwork - Nitrous - Compound charging Flutter ain't as bad as people make out IMO, never had a problem personally and i know a tuner who never uses DVs without a single problem.

Yes there overly noticeable on idle. Like a bad exhaust leak. If i was yourself I'd go blitz (out of them 2)

My night pager was run for about 8 month and never had a problem with any cracks, still living on IIRC. They do sound wank on idle, all stock turbo screamers do. But its worth it on boost.

This sounds more then fair, civiclife has run like this for a while and it runs smoothly over there. Maybe worth appointing a few extra "Approval Mods" to check to reduce timescales and only give them this job. Saves inconveniencing the people who do follow the rules. Just an idea.
