I'm trying to find the build thread I read awhile ago describing the same issue and fix on a gt. From what I remember I think the loom has something to do with it also.

Yeh its a light weight low interia trd/exedy unit. They do this in both 212mm diameter or 200mm. I'm running the same unit.

Quite a bit of cement boil and the shroud is to black. What's your fuel pressure set to and I'd get the injectors cleaned. What boost pressure are you running. Which cylinder is the plug out of and are all the plug shroud this black.

What years are the GT turbos the ECU has come from and gone onto. I'd say possible difference in ECU pin outs.

Hello. Nice, clean starlet you have there. There is a lad on the site that does competition. I'll try and find his build thread for you.

Was the rocker cover sand\shot blast cleaned before painting normally oven powder coat paint. If so the shot\sand and Powder get into and above the breather baffle plate. Or porting filings in the head journals. My turbo conversion died because of shot in the breather baffle because it had a powder coated rocker cover. Sorry to hear this. -
Really nice stuff.

Im at a cross roads\tipping point on my build and in need of Some information off any of you guys running 220hp+ on the 4e engine. I could do with some mpg figures as acreate as possible with turbo and ECU used Thank you in advance for the help. PM me them if you don't want to disclose this information to the public.

Yeh the aem does do this but it's not a faultless system by any stretch of the imagination this is because I'm running a cat for euro emissions standard. I need to keep the cat healthy and use the lamba and closed loop as much as I can (Road proformance) I've just finished fitting a det3 to a eg civic d16y8 engine running the later coil on plug loom ECU, on a turboed. I'm very impressed with it. If you need any help setting things up give us a shout. We use the pmw tables to activate the VTEC solenoid as it was also running a aftermarket cam. Great ECU this vehicle is logging

I've added a screw in tube to the exhaust lamba\o2 flange, so only the very bottom of the standard 4efe O2 sensor sees the exhaust gas stream positioned in the standard 4efe ep91 exhaust location on the jap speed system. this creates a leaner reading from the 4efe O2 sensor so far it's working nice allowing the closed loop operation. I'm running a high flow proformance cat also on a aem piggy back ems. I'm data logging the O2 sensors voltage\lamba output. When mot time comes I remove the tube so the lamba sees the full stream. I hit a slight issue when I moved up to 1bar of boost pressur

Ooooor yehh fella. Looks smart.

I hope this can help, I'm just fitting one to a civic d16y8 turbo.

I'll check out the injector rate now. 650cc? Thanks for the reply. Am I right in thinking this is a td03? What boost pressure was you running? Great to see these 4efe boosted. -

nice mod with the cams. The cam setup on the 4efe is very low rpm power orientated. Question: What kind of power figures did you get and what clutch? Keep the videos coming. Great to see some timed runs. -
